How Vex and Kaylee Clockworth met.

It was a seemingly normal night in Vesteri for Vex, she had finally become a true element, all was good, until it wasn't.. She had her headphones in and was listening to her music as she does, scrolling on her phone. She was also sketching at the same time. Then..Head of the Royal Court busted down the door- No literally threw it off of it's hinges, screaming there had been reports of a mysterious crash and that he was concerned it was Via. Vex had a feeling it was her sister. She took off her headphones and quickly grabbed her tiara and staff, and left the castle. Just as she had thought, when she got outside Queen Via of Hell Province was waiting. Instead of her sister going on her usual monologue, she looked surprised. "Why hello Vesteri how I've miss- Vex?!" Via seemed surprised which was odd, as Vex has always known her as not to get surprised easily. "Where are the guards? Or the Darks for the matter that you're here?" "I left them, Via, and the guards aren't here." Vex sounded tired and annoyed. "Well I do love a challenge" Via remarked as she pointed her staff at Vex. Vex saw she was about to blast her and immediately flew upwards. Via missed, obviously. Vex didn't have the time to fully conjure her proper form, so this would have to do. She was unprepared for a full fight then and there, but either way she blasted Via with a good amount a force to the point it knocked her backward. After Vex hitting Via with blast after blast, she missed. Her missing gave Via enough time to strike her down. Vex hit the ground with a crash, the fall mangled her quite a bit. Vex knew if she didn't get help fast, she was done for. She frantically contacted the council for help, they sent a girl named Kaylee Clockworth, the element of time. She was the only unstationed element and the only nearby one. Vex, though being mangled , still managed to keep Via back and protecting herself from possible death. Thankfully, only two minutes later, Kaylee rushed in to save Vex. Kaylee knocked Via down and rushed to Vex's side, helping her up and blasting Via back down when she tried to regain her strength and get back up. Vex stood for a few minutes, regaining her strength to fight Via. All the while Kaylee was keeping Via back. Vex finally felt ready to fight and rushed to Kaylee's side to help fight off Via. Eventually, after what felt like an hour of fighting, they defeated Via. Via quickly disappeared in defeat, she had lost control of Vesteri. "Who exactly was that? I've seen a lot but never her.." Kaylee inquired. "That was Queen Via of Hell Province, or in simpler terms, my sister."Vex got the question a lot and honestly did not care. "Huh, doesn't seem she'd be your sister-" she was cut off "You'd be surprised. Both my sisters are after my head- Well one is dead- Y'know it's a long story." really Vex just would rather not explain. "The council never really gave me your name. I'm Lady Kaylee Clockworth of Tempustari. you are?" "Vex Netherstorm of Vesteri, other known as the Dark element." Vex wasn't used to the "Lady" things and just didn't use it. "Didn't you work with Ion and them? " Vex then began to look visibly uncomfortable and anxious but she tried to hide it, too bad Kaylee noticed. "Oh I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.." "No it's fine, I just don't like hearing that name." Vex did care, but her problems didn't matter. Their conversation was interrupted by the beep of Vex's pager, the council needed her to begin packing as she was going to be stationed at Royale High School for a while. "That was my pager- I need to go, it was nice meeting you Kaylee!"  Vex said while running back to the castle, she looked back for a second but Kaylee had already gone. She hoped to see her again. Kaylee had saved Vex's life that day, Vex could have easily died and Vesteri would be left under no rule, there would be no dark element. She owed Kaylee something for that day, that something would end up being her friendship, and being willing to fight for her whenever.
