Vex's past (TW: Mentions of Abuse, Anxiety, and depression)

Vex's past was a dark one.  The experiences she had, the people she was with, still fill her nightmares. Let's start from the beginning. Vex had been born to the throne of Vesteri. Daughter of Queen Virrah and King Loki. She was never expected to be a queen, much less an Elemental one. The King and Queen never expected their daughter to become the elemental that protects their realm. Vex's mother died when she was the age of 7 and her Father died when she was 17. Let's go to when Vex was 14. She was by no means a dumb teen, she knew what she was doing, despite the fact she had just become an elemental. The council chose her for unknown reasons. The most likely bet would be that she was born to the throne of the dark realm anyway. But who knows. However being the dark element had its own issues like the fact that, instead of getting to be with all of the light , world savior elements, she was sent to live with what everyone else referred to as the "Chaos elements", Ion, Ventri, Nim, and Tragedy. All of them were elements. The light elements saw it as counterproductive to have the dark element on the light team. Especially after Ion's actions. Going forward a year. Ion became wicked, ruthless and mean. She would scare Vex and insult her. Soon it would evolve to where she would even fight her sometimes. Back then, Ion was the second most powerful, she was the most powerful until..Atria Astrid rose and started using her powers. Once Ion lost her spot, she only got meaner. Vex would often wake up to screaming, fighting between Ion and Nim. This went on for months on end. Vex developed anxiety and soon, depression. Vex's once small system of 2, grew with the new stress. One day, during one of Ion's screaming fits, Vex snapped. Vex had finally had it with the screaming. She spent the next few weeks, practicing, proving that she was, the second most powerful, not Ion. She earned her tiara, her staff, and her halo. She then returned. Soon, Ion started the screaming, this time, Vex started a fight. "STOP! I'M SICK OF THE YELLING!" Vex screamed. "You're weak! This is willing you to become better." Ion's cold voice still haunts her. Ion then shot an ice spear at Vex. Instead of hopelessly dodging, this time, Vex stopped it. Surprised Ion stumbled backward, "Vex- Put down the spear." Ion sounded afraid. Vex crushed the spear. Then, Ion blasted her back. Nim hearing this came running. She was about to blast Ion, when Vex got up, and opened her eyes, revealing they were completely black. Then, Vex defended herself and surrounded Ion in darkness. She walked over to Ion and in an emotionless voice, said "I'm done with the screaming, the insults." Ion was now actually afraid. From that day on, Vex ruled over the chaos elements as queen with Nim at her right hand. Nim Witheris, The element of death was her childhood friend. She'd dethroned Ion, as queen, and as the second most powerful. Ion however, still was wicked. Soon Vex had become as ruthless and mean as Ion, she wanted it all to stop. She would order attacks on earth, Astral Spectrum, Etheria,and  sometimes.. they would attack her own home. Vex never ordered attacks on Vesteri. Those were always rouge missions. Or she'd been forced by Ventri. Ventri was the true leader. Knowing just the right words to make people do things. A lot of her people died in those attacks. Now, Vex was full of dread, guilt and anger. She became evil. She would brush off Nim, not listen and distance herself from Nim. She started ordering more attacks on Earth. They would take innocent humans as prisoners.. They would do work, if they messed up, punishment. Vex was seen as a Villain. She didn't like it. One day , it all became too much. She had enough, Ion once again had only become more wicked, Ventri and Tragedy joined in on it. Vex went to find Nim, but she had left.. with only a note left in her trail, " I couldn't take it anymore.. I'm leaving. Going somewhere you will hopefully never find me. You all will not bring me down and make my life hell anymore. -Nim Witheris." Vex was devastated... That night was a blur, between panic attacks and crying. That next morning, was her last morning there. She packed her things, put her crown away and replaced it with a beanie. She wrote a note that read " I can't take it, this place will be the death of me. These 4 years have been hell. Goodbye forever. I'm joining them.-Vex Netherstorm, Former Queen of the chaos Elements". That night, a now 18 year old Vex, fled to Vesteri. Turns out, The king, her father, had died. Via had taken over, but she fought Via until she backed down. She was queen. She was a good queen. Kind, caring, protective. Different from when she ruled the Chaos Elements. She eventually was summoned  to the Elemental Council. They lectured on leaving her place. Told her to go back to the Chaos. She refused, She fought to be placed with the others after explaining it all. They begrudgingly placed her with the others. Not even 2 days later, she met Atria Astrid. Atria and her were fast friends. They met when they were both stationed at Royale high school due to a high level threat. The threat was Queen Via of Hell province. Who appeared, they easily beat her. The Council decided that her and Atria would stay in the same stations. 6 months later, after looking forever, Vex found Nim. Nim at first was afraid, and didn't really recognize Vex, as Vex's hair color was no longer black, instead blue, and she'd traded her crown for a beanie, headphones and a spider. Once Vex explained she no longer ruled the Chaos Elements and instead, did things with the other elements, Nim and her went back to before she was queen. Best friends. Vex still deals with nightmares from the times she spent with the others, and the chaos often try to target her for attacks. Her mind hasn't completely healed. She doubts it ever will, but things will get better with time. Now Vex spends her time making sure Atria doesn't go to prison and being around people she wants to be around.
