SHINKAMI (Denki is a cat)

Chapter 10

                    Shinso POV

          Mic and I place the last two boxes in the room. When he leaves i close the door behind him and turn around to see denki jumping on the boxes. "Come on! I can help you unpack!" he said. I pull out my pocket knife and cut open the boxes. As I place a couple of books on the shelves denki drags random clothed to the closet. 

          The job was done in minutes. Class hadn't started yet so I figured I should go. Picking up my uniform, I head to the closet. "What are you doing bro?" denki asked. "Class hasn't started yet so I thought id go." I replied.

          "No way! This is probably the only day in ever that we'll be exused from class. Lets go somewhere dude!" he said. This was probably going to be a complete waste of time that I could have been using to show that I should belong in the hero course and proove myself but for some reason I couldnt say no. 

          "Yeah, fine whatever. Where do you want to go." I say. This is a horrible idea. "I'll show you! lets go!" he says waiting at the door. I open the door and he bolts. "WAIT UP!" I say running after him. 

          We walk through the city looking at everything. Denki got a few weird looks. Then denki looked my way. "Can I show you one more thing before we go back?" he asked. "Um..sure."

          The cat runs off as I follow. We wind up at the entrance to a forest. As we go though the forest the ground starts to lead upwards, getting steeper and steeper. As I work my butt of trying to get up the mountain (and question why im still following this crackhead) denki has no problem getting up.

          When we reach the top there was a cliff that sat over a large lake. How was this here for so long and no one noticed. By the looks of this place it seemed pretty deserted. Denki ran towards the edge. He sat down at the cliff and stared out to the water. I walk over to him and sit by him. 

          "Cool, right?" he said. "Yeah."

          We stayed there for the rest of the day. Not realizing that the day had gone by. Before we knew it the stars were glowing above us. The cat crawled into my lap and closed its eyes. I lye back and slowly fall asleep.
