I hate it when people are cruel to animals

For I believe they are the best pals

People may lie, hurt, or dump you

But pets will adore, comfort and will always be true

They may not say how much they love you

For they can't speak the words we do

The only way they can show how much they care

Is by staying by our side when life is unfair

They will never leave us, never forsaken us

They will stay and will never betray our trust

They will even risk they lives to save

Is there anyone that could also be that brave?

We should love our pets the way we love ourselves

We should make them feel important and that we are blessed

Treat them like a friend, or siblings perhaps

Give them treats or a massage on our lap

If you do this things the way I do.

I commend and congratulate you

For being not just a pet owner

But also for being an animal lover
