My Guardian Angel

I made this when I was in third year high. My bestfriend lost hers loving father in a fatal accident while driving their tricycle. It hurt her so much. Her father was the only one left to her since her mother left them years ago. When I saw this again I suddenly miss her. But still I'm happy that she managed to get along and now living in Canada with the family of her own.

Patiently looking up and waiting
For a wishing star, why isn't it falling?
Teary eyed hence, still not blinking
Hoping it will come and hear me calling

I will make a wish but it is not for me
Coz' it is for someone I love so dearly
Oh little star please show up to me
Bring my father back I'm begging please hear me

I stood there stil waiting
Amidst silence I heaqp my heart beating
Tears kept on flowing my eyes are now aching
But I will never give up I will keep on watching

I kept on standing ignoring the pain
If he might be in my foot I guess he'll do the same
Even if its crazy he'll do it again

When the sun showed up I thought the waiting is over
Maybe God didn't want us to see each other
I kept on weeping my heart is filled with anger

But the warmth of the sun that shines into my face
Somehow took all the pain while looking at its rays
As I gasp for air I just knelt and pray

My Lord I am so sorry please do forgive me
For blaming you when you took my father from me
I realized maybe its time for him to take a rest
And be with you up there in heaven

I will acept it for I believe in you
Please tell him to guide me and help me to be strong
And be my gurdian angel from now on
