ZHANG YU XI'S POV

A WHILE AGO....

Someone's impostering as me. Someone's using me to hurt Jun Kai. I was standing in front of one of Minister Chen's windows. Even though I couldn't see, but I hear. From that, I could pull a conclusion that I am inside that room. I arrived a bit late so, I had to understand what was happening. Now, that I did, I ran to the door.

My hand was on the handle when I got pulled away from the door. Someone wearing all black was leading me somewhere. I had to quickly get to Jun Kai so I release the person's grip. Feeling that it was a bit hard, I could tell that he was a man.

As I wanted to ran, he continued to obstruct me. This time, he started attacking using his sword. Somehow his fighting moves felt familiar. But, I couldn't think of who it was. After a while, I got impatient, I had to get to Jun Kai. I took out my whip and slashed him. Each slash seemed to hurted him. Finally, after 5 slash, he fell down. Taking this to my advantage, I quickly headed to the door.

Once I opened the door, I saw Jun Kai. He was lying on the floor with a lifeless complexion. There was a broken cup beside him. The cup was broken but, it wasn't empty. He drank it. He fell for it.

"Jun Kai ! Jun Kai ! " I yelled as I shook his body.

His body felt so cold. But, I could still felt his breath even though it was weak. He was still alive. My heart hurt, It hurt so much. It hurt more than any wound I had endured.

"Who are you !? " I yelled to my imposter.

"Turns out the real 女王 is here, isn't she ? " My imposter said.

"Who are you ! What did you do to him ? " I yelled.

"Wang Yuan, his adopted brother. " My imposter smirked as his body shift into another visual. A man.

He was Jun Kai'S family ? Then why did he hurt him ? What did he want ? My anger boiled inside me.

"If he's your family, them why did you hurt him ! " I ran towards him.

But before I could touch him, I got blocked. In fact, the block was a hug. A backhug by the person in black just now.

"Who are you ? " I yelled as I slashed the man's back so he let go.

"Yu Xi , it's me " his voice was familiar.

I bent down to my kness and pulled Jun Kai in my embrace, Wanting to feel his warmth. I can't do this without him. I feel so scared, so lonely. I need him. Tears fell down uncontrollably. My heart felt so much pain that I almost passed out.

"Why did you hurt him ? " I asked in a weak tone.

"Why ? Why do you think ? We hate him ! We all do ! " Wang Yuan said.

I burried my face in his hair. I couldn't go on like this. I needed him to wake up. I needed him to respond to me. A grip of his would do, anything . But, he didn't do anything. He just closed his eyes.

"What ? What did you do ? " I asked again, trying to get every bit of information to cure him.

"Netherthumb " Minister Chen said, then left with everyone leaving me and Jun Kai alone.

Inside my mind, it was going on and on. Netherthumb. It would kill the suffering one in 15 days time. Making them grow weaker and weaker each day. But, it's not impossible to cure. You needed blood relatives' blood to wake up. Jun Kai has no other blood relatives , he was all alone.

But, I saw his mother in his dream once. I could make her blood with my skills. Even though it would be hard and costed a lot but, I could do it. I needed to. For Jun Kai.

I really didn't care. All I cared about is Jun Kai. And I only had 13 more days... It took time to get to Qing Qiu.

I finally finished training the blood. I used as little time as possible, because Jun Kai need to be healed as soon as possible.

A bottle of blood in my hand. I did my best to get to my room where Jun Kai is. I opened the door and fell down on the doorframe just after I got in. I tried my best to get up, it took quite a while but I managed.

I walked all the way to my bed. I saw Jun Kai , paled. His usual bright, red, lip was as white as snow. His skin was in such a light tone that it almost blended in with the white bedsheet colour.

I took the bottle in my hand and slowly poured it into his lips. The colour off the blood had such a big difference with his lips. It was creepy.

I just looked at him. Studying his facial features. Somehow it mesmerized me. After a while, his complexion became a bit better. Looks like the blood worked. Seeing him like this, I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.

But... My body, it aches so much. Blood came pouring out of my lips as it became so painful that I couldn't stand. I fell to the ground again. This time, I let out a small scream of pain, since I couldn't take it anymore.

"Zu Er ! " Xiu Ru came running to the room.

"Is your body ok ? Did you just get out ? How could you move so much ! You could have called me ! Oh Zu Er ! " She talked so quick that I couldn't help but smile.
