Third Person's POV

It was a battle that made everyone's hair sit on end. Minako was getting goosebumps as she watched from her spot. "He looks too much like him."

Aichi's prediction is slowly coming true. Only an idiot like the white haired boy he was facing, couldn't see it. The rest of them watching knew Aichi had something else up his sleeve.

And they were right. Aichi won, using the card he said he would. It made Minako shiver, both in terror and anxiety. She noticed Kai looking from Aichi to her and back again. It wasn't hard to tell that he was comparing them both, not on their skills of course but how they act when under the influence of that power.

Minako bit her lip and chewed on it. She was hoping that she was over thinking things. She didn't look up from the ground until Aichi fell backwards. Her mouth filled with the iron taste of blood.

"Aichi, are you okay?" Thankfully Kai caught him on time or else he would've dropped to the floor.

Aichi had his head in the palm of his hand trying to relief himself from the throbbing pain that coursed through his brain. Minako rushed to his side as Kai slowly guided him towards the bench where he had been sitting previously. Her eyes caught Kai's, she could see the worry and dark memories starting to flood him.

But her main focus was Aichi, so she chose to ignore him for the moment. "We better get him to the clinic... Do they even have a clinic here?"

Shin answered her question,"They do, but we still have other matches."

Before any of them could think of a way to get Aichi to the clinic, Emi approached them whilst running. "I'll take him there. The rest of you should focus on your matches." The rest of the team stole glances at each other before eventually nodding, promising to win their matches and ensure their spot in the tournament.

Time skip... again...:)

The rest of the team paved their way to the nationals smoothly, letting Aichi rest in the clinic trusting his little sister to take care of him. Misaki, Kamui and Minako won the matches easily enough but that also meant that they didn't notice Kai sneak away to visit Aichi in the clinic.

Minako sighed as she made her way to the clinic. She thought to herself, "Where the hell did Kai run off to? Thank God the tournament is over, or else we're screwed." Just as she reached the clinic she heard the voice of the two males inside arguing with each other. Aichi was desperate to get Kai to acknowledge him while Kai was scolding him in a harsh way.

Minako stopped herself from entering opting to wait until Kai left. She could still hear everything though. The more she tuned into the conversation the more she thought of how similar the two were with her and her sister. She leaned against the wall beside the door, closing her eyes trying to clear her mind.

Just as she did cleared off everything, Kai stalked out the door creating more thoughts to appear in her head. "Maybe you got too harsh on him. Don't you think?" Kai didn't answer, He continued to walk away after looking at the watch at his wrist. The tournament was over for the day. That meant that he could leave, and leave he did. Leaving behind a stressed out Minako and a heart broken Aichi.

He was gone for the rest of the break they got before the nationals. But he wasn't the only one. Minako and Aichi both disappeared as well, each for a different reason. Reasons that their other two best friends and teammates didn't know about, which only made them even more worried.
