Third Person's POV

Miyuki glared at the deck of cards in her brother's hand, Shadow Paladins. The total opposite of Royal Paladin, and her brother was going to make Aichi try it. But once he tries it there will be no going back like her brother and herself.

Miyuki had to stop herself from shifting nervously and biting her fingernails, a bad habit that occurs only when she's anxious. She thought to herself, "Come on, think! Use that big brain of yours..."

She watched as Aichi staggered backwards at the force of Blaster Dark. Even with his beginner level psyqualia it wasn't hard to feel his sheer strength. Ren was just like him the first time he got his hands on Blaster Dark.

She could remember it so vividly it surprised herself. Maybe she thought she had hidden the moment deep within her memories, turns out it wasn't deep enough. She watched as Aichi's hand reached for the cards that Ren offered him. "Wait-"

"Do you honestly think that you could get stronger just by using a different deck?"

Miyuki closed her eyes, resisting the urge to facepalm. She shouldn't have tried challenging him. It would only make the situation worse than it already is. And also why does she keep on getting interrupted Goddamnit.

"Well, let's see. Why not battle against me if you wanna learn the truth? Real power can only be gained through training and practice."

Miyuki and Amira exchanged looks for a second time. Miyuki sighed quietly before gesturing to Amira to stop it. "Kou-chan, maybe right now's not the time. I mean he just got the new deck, he might need time-"

The bluenette slowly shook his head, his bangs covering his eyes. "It's okay Amira-san, I'll take care of her." His head lifted to look behind him at Kourin. Miyuki shivered a little at his stare. She didn't want to know how Kourin must feel. "My Shadow Paladin's first victim."

Miyuki slowly made her way to her brother's side. "Nii-san, don't you think this is going a bit too fast? He barely scrapped the surface of his powers and you're already giving him a deck similar to yours." Her voice of course remained monotone but she let worry flash through her pink orbs to make it more believable.

Ren chuckled, "I have never seen you get worried over a boy before. Other than Kai that is." Miyuki's eyes widened and her mouth parted and no matter how much she tried to stop the blush from making it to her face, there was a tint of pink on her pale skin. She was flustered and that was something new.

She cleared her throat as she regained her composure. "It's not what you're thinking, whatever it is."

"No, I get it. We'll see how well your loverboy does."

"Nii-san-"

"Are you two coming?" Without them realizing the rest of the people present had already made their way towards the fighting table. Miyuki sighed yet again, her head was already pounding. Of course her brother would think of it as something that it isn't.

Ren gave her a smile as he guided her to the best seat to watch the battle. "Watch and see as your crush proves himself to me. If he does well, I might even let him court you." Miyuki nearly let tears fall out of her tear glands. Her brother could be so oblivious that it hurts sometime. She met eyes with her best friend over her brother's shoulders and gave her a pleading look.

Amira just shrugged as she watched the exchange between the siblings. Not to mention that she was laughing so hard, her stomach hurt.

"Nii-san, that wasn't what I meant..."
