Jason-Someone better than me

I'm sorry, Dick. I had to lie to you. But you can't be with someone who hurts you. You deserve someone so much better than me. Jason walked away from Dick's bed as he heard Dick scream, "Jason, don't leave me!"
Jason tried his best to hold back his tears but he couldn't. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry.
....(flash back)
Jason was in bed. He was trying his best to remember what had happen. He sat up and groaned in pain. He looked down at his stomach and there were bandages wrapped around him. He tried to get up but the pain hurt to much. Dick walked into the room, "H-hey, don't try to get out of bed."
"What happened?" Jason asked.
"You don't remember?"
"No, I don't."
Dick paused for a moment, trying to figure out how to explain it to him, "Bruce was away and he told me to make a decision if you should go undercover in the Court of Owls and it didn't go well. I messed up. I shouldn't have let you go. It's my fault your like this." His face was full of remorse. "I'm sorry."
"Hey, I'm not to keen on the details but you didn't do anything wrong, Dick. You never mess up," Jason smiled.
Dick smiled back at him. "Thanks but its my fault you're like this."
"No, it isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself. I chose to do this so whatever happened to me was on me," Jason said.
"But I should've..." Dick tried to say but Jason shushed him.
"Dick, we're the sidekicks of Batman. We knew what we were getting into when we joined him. Don't feel bad, Dick. It wasn't your fault."
"Fine," he reluctantly said. He felt he was to blame, it was written all over his face. "I should let you get some rest," Dick said as he stood up but Jason grabbed his arm.
"Please don't go. I want you here with me."
