chapter 5. december 23rd

He kisses me. Out of nowhere Kian just starts kissing me. I knot my fingers through his hair, kissing him back. He's a good kisser. And I don't want it to end. But he pulls away and breaks the contact between our lips, too soon.

"Umm....." Kian says. Is that a good sign?

"What?" I ask, hesitantly.

"Sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

"The kiss. I'm sorry I kissed you."

"Why? I liked it, a lot."

"I take it back then." and he's back to normal.

"Good." I smile.

"So, you wanna be my girlfriend?" Kian asks after a long pause.

"Yes." I answer, confidently, hoping he picks up on it.

"Good, now sit on my lap while we finish editing our videos."

"Yes sir." I salute him, obeying. We laugh.

"Hello?" Connor's voice travels through the house, all the way up to Kian's room.

"Yes?" Kian yells down the stairs.

"It's Connor! Can I come in?!"

"No, why would you be allowed in my house?!" Kian yells, jokingly.

"Okay, I'll just leave then." Connor responds, also joking.

We hear the door open and close, footsteps walking to the stairs, up the stairs and towards Kian's open door. Next thing we know, Connor is standing in the doorway, his smile very wide. "Hello lovebirds." he says.

"Hey Connor." Kian and I respond in unison. We all laugh at that.

"How's the editing going?"

Kian looks at me funny then says, "Very well." I nod in agreement.

This only makes Connor's smile become even more wider, if that's even possible. "So are you too a 'thing' now?" he asks.

"I guess so." I reply happily.

"Yeah, you could say that." Kian says.

"Since when?" Connor.

"Half way through editing the first video." Kian.

"He kissed me, just saying." Me.

"Well at least you stuck to tradition." Connor.

"What do you mean?" Kian is very confused.

"Tradition, the male makes the first move." Connor.

"Oh. Now I get you." Kian's understanding is evident through his facial expression. "Yeah, we did."

"Good." Connor walks out.
