Princess Celestia shot a pale yellow beam to the roof of the Canterlot Castle, projecting a vision of the past, where a dark being loomed over the two princesses.

'You will not get away with this Obsidian Echo!' Princess Luna screamed at the dark being above her. 'Oh, but I already have.' Obsidian replied, with a smirk on his face that said you betta get your asses outta here before I give you both a slow and painful death.

'I don't think so. We have the power in us to defeat you, you monster!' Celestia screamed as the dark figure's eyes started to glow an even deeper green colour than they already were. 'You will fail!'. Her voice echoed across the valley, and Obsidian transformed into the figure of a regular Alicorn stallion, but with his own ghastly features.

His fiery green eyes, his grey blood red tipped torn bat wings, his sharp pointy teeth, his mangled grey blood red tipped horn, and his black, silver and blood red flowing mane and tail. His horn started glowing a deep purple, as a pitch black sword formed. His smirk deepened into an evil grin as he thrust his sword at the princesses.

Quickly sidestepping his blow, so that it only grazed her side. Enraged, the princess shot a pale yellow bean at Obsidian, while summoning her own pale pink blade with the sun ad the centrepiece, preparing for battle.

Luna's horn lit up as she summoned her blade, black with the night sky on it, the moon as the centrepiece. The two princesses screamed and thrust their blades an the dark stallion as he called his own blade back. He sidestepped both their blows, and the battle continued.

By the end, the two princesses were weakened, and the dark being was lying, horribly wounded on the ground. His previously silver, black and blood red mane and tail were now completely covered in blood.

Celestia rose, her pale pink flowy mane stained with blood, and delivered the last blow to Obsidian, banishing him to a place very far from Equestria, where he should never return.

Princess Luna staggered up to celestia, her injured leg slowing her. 'Let us hope he never bothers us again.' Princess Luna spat, her pale blue mane stained with her blood.

'Hopefully.' Celestia replied, staring off into the distance.

Twilight and her friends stared in horror as the projection disappeared. 'I am terribly sorry you had to see that, but, I believe, this is what we are dealing with,' Celestia apologised 'you need to know.'
