Feel it Within

Chapter 6 - Training -

Emerald would lightly hit a large rock she found outside while sitting on the couch muttering, " Stupid tall ladies take Dad.. "

Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl would stand in the kitchen, talking over each other about what to do to make Emerald feel better.

" Emerald, don't worry about Steven or those other Diamonds, we're working on a plan to get him back. " Pearl said gently to make sure Emerald didn't feel like she was being hostile to her.

Emerald would look up when pearl said something about Diamonds. " Diamonds took Dad? "

Pearl nodded. Emerald narrowed her eyes in frustration and anger. She slammed her fist down on the rock,  it cracked. " THEY WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS! "

" Emerald..you can't go to get him back.. " Pearl said, her words slow and thoughtful.

" WHAT? No fair! I'm going! "

" Emerald, you can't go since you might get hurt! "

" WHEN DAD WAS MY AGE, HE GOT TO DO ALL THIS STUFF! HE EVEN GOT TO GO TO SPACE! "

" Emerald, he got hurt from that. He was hunted by numerous gems for something he didn't do "

" So? I'm being hunted down by tall ladies to! Why is he so different? "

Pearl fell silent for a few moments.

" It's because he has powers, isn't it? AM I NOT ALLOWED TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I DON't HAVE POWERS LIKE HIM? "

" It's not that Emerald! You mean to much to Steven and us. We can't let you go for your safety "

" Oh and Dad didn't mean anything to you guys when he was my age? "

" He meant the world to us, Emerald. And you mean the world to us, too. The only reason Steven went to space was because he jumped in. We didn't want him to go through any of the stress he went through..but it all happened because he proved himself... " Pearl fell silent again. " Well? What am I supposed to do? " Emerald asked angrily. " You proved yourself, too...so, we're starting training. "

" TRAINING?  LIKE FIGHTING AND STUFF? " Emerald squealed as she spoke. " Yes, but this does not mean you're going up to space, you will train until we return. For now, I will train you briefly before we get Steven. "

" No fair . "

" It's what we can do for now. "

" Uuuuuugh fiiiine, I'll stay here and train. "

" Good try, Emerald! Make sure to not turn around while using the sword— PARRY! "

" I'm trying but I'm not good at this- " As emerald said this, HoloPearl knocked Emeralds sword our. Pearl stopped the hologram.

" I can't even do it on beginner mode! You make it look so easy.. "

" Okay, we should work on your skills gem skill, too. "

Pearl and Emerald would practice bubbling, Pearl doing it flawlessly and Emerald making a small bubble and freaking out when it happened.

The small bubble started growing little flower buds in it. " Woooaaaaaah! Pearl, my bubble made flowers! "

" Oh, that's odd..but useful.. "

" Does this mean I can come on the mission now?! "

" Nnnnooo... you're still not ready. "

" That's so dumb though! I'll be able to use the flower and bubble thing! "

" You still can't come, we're sorry. "

" But I wanna go on the mission! I can help! "

" You're not ready, Emerald! You could get hurt! "

At this point, Emerald was getting angry. She just wanted to save her father, but Pearl wasn't having it. She got so mad, in fact, that when she tried to make a flower bubble to calm down, all that shot out was electricity, which shocked her. " OW! "
Emerald screamed as she shot her hand.

" Emerald! Are you okay? "

" Yeah, electric shock. "

" Alright, we're about to get ready to leave. Remember, no following us. Got it? "

" Yeah yeah, no following. "

Pearl would smile and walk back to the temple. Emerald waited a few seconds before running back to the temple, sneakily grabbing her things, and entering the ship. She hid somewhere and waited for Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl to enter.

" Yo, P, where's Emerald? "

" She's probably on her way to Connie, we shouldn't worry. "

Emerald stayed as quiet as possible until the gems walked off to start the ship. She came out of her spot to stretch. She was going to space.
