Waking up, I let my eyes adjust to the light filtering into the room before rolling over and resting my head on Jax's arm. He stirs a bit before opening his eyes. They find focus on my face and stay there as a slow smile overtakes his face.

"Good morning, princess. It looks like your hair was attacked with a blender." He whispers.
"And it looks like a possum fell asleep on your face. You really aren't suited to have facial hair." I tease back.
"That wasn't very nice. Most girls like it."
"Well, I prefer your baby face. You might look fifteen but I think it looks better."

He scoffs and reaches around me, pulling me up onto his chest fully. I bite my lip to keep from laughing and waking up the other boys.

"You know if my brothers see this they might kill us both, right?" I whisper, wrapping my arms around his chest.
"Well, you're not really stopping me, and they know we're just friends so what's the harm in it?"
"The harm is that I'm hungry and would like a shower. And, we don't want to give anyone the wrong idea." I reason, hating myself for enjoying this and praising myself for resisting his charm. Kinda.
"We can't have the princess starve, now can we? I'll make you a deal, I'll let you up and fix you breakfast if you give me a kiss." He says with a teasing glint in his eyes, puckering his lips up theatrically.
I roll my eyes and quickly kiss his cheek before rolling out of his grasp and getting to my feet. He gives me sad eyes and juts out his bottom lip.

"That's not what I meant." He whines.
"Tough luck, you didn't specify. I want chocolate chip pancakes and watermelon for breakfast, thank you. Oh, coffee too." I give him a wink and stroll out of the room.

The next order of business, since my breakfast is being prepared for me, is a shower. Once I get to my room, I grab the bag that has all my hair products and appliances as well as a change of clothes. Wandering into the bathroom, I peer around and get a feel for what I'm working with.

There are two sides of the bathroom, one with a huge bathtub, a toilet and a sink. The other has a shower and another toilet and sink. In the middle of the two is a gigantic mirror and a counter. Both sides have a linen curtain that can be drawn to quarter off the bathing areas.

Picking the shower side, I drop my bag on the counter and dig through it, grabbing everything I need and hauling it over to the shower. Instead of dirtying up another towel, I snag my mostly dried towel from last night and hang that beside the shower.

Half an hour later, I'm clean and dressed in my bikini with a pair of jean shorts thrown over the bottoms. Standing at the mirror, I apply lotion to my legs and arms, then brush a bit of mascara onto my lashes. I bite my lip when I see the little red bumps scattered over the sides of my cheeks. Hopefully a couple weeks at the shore can heal them up.

I decide against blowing my hair out and instead pin the front pieces back with a clip and call it a day. Walking back into my room, I grab one of Jax's cutoff shirts from my bag and pull it over my head. Deeming myself presentable, I head for the kitchen. Halfway down the hall, the smell of coffee makes me smile and I double my pace.

When I walk in, Noah and Jordan are sitting at the table talking to Jax who is standing over the stove with a stack of pancakes beside him. I hug Jordan good morning as I pass and give Noah our handshake. Grabbing a plate, I go to pile on a few pancakes, but Jax stops me.

"Chocolate chip pancakes and watermelon. Coffee's ready for you to fix." He says, shooting me a smile, before handing me a plate with everything I asked for.
"Thanks, Jax. You know, you're pretty helpful sometimes. We might just have to keep you around."

He swats at me with a towel and I dodge it with a laugh, popping a pancake into my mouth. Making my way over to the table, I watch as Danny and Teagan come stumbling into the room, followed by Nathan who's shirt is on backwards, and Miller who seems to still be half asleep. As everyone settles into a seat around the kitchen, we try to decide what we want to do today.
