Later that day Alexis decided to man up and ask her mom about this whole exciting situation in hopes she would say yes. During dinner her mom and sister sat silently eating at the marble dinner table. All was heard were forks and plates. Alexis spoke up, "Mom?" Her mom responded setting her fork down softly. "Yes sweetheart?" Alexis looked her mom in the eyes. "Could i maybe meet up with a online friend? You know the Netflix show i am OBSESSED with? the main character Amybeth has offered me a plane ticket to see her on set. Please please pleaseee!" Alexis pleaded.

I looked at my pleading daughter. Thinking for a few minutes, i bit my lip and responded, "Sure sweetheart." Her eyes lit up and she jumped up engulfing me into a warm hug. I let out a soft chuckle. "Are you serious mom?" I nodded my head, "Go pack! Can't be unprepared for your big day!" She kisses my cheek and puts her plate and fork into the sink, seconds later she runs to her room.

Alexis packs everything she needs including her MacBook for the long trip. She starts jumping out of excitement. I get to meet THE Amybeth Mcnulty. She flops on her bed exhausted from packing and jumping around.
