Jaimy's POV:

I woke up from the sun shining in my face. I looked at the time '10 AM'. I got scared for a second, because I thought I was late for school. But then I realised it is a Saturday. Great... You might be wondering, Jaimy why aren't you excited?! It's weekend! Well let me tell you. Today is my sisters birthday.. She died in a car crash one month ago. I was very close with her.. I snapped out of my thoughts and got out of bed. I grabbed my glasses. Without my lenses I can't see sh*t, so I have to wear them if i don't want to injure myself. I walked to my closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. I changed into the clothes and got to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror.

''Damn I look rough''

I took of my glasses and splashed some cold water in my face to wake me up. I brushed my teeth and hair, put on some deodorant and put in my lenses, because I hate wearing my glasses.

"Okay, time to go downstairs and face mom and dad, you got this.. I think"

I walk downstairs and see balloons and decorations. I walked to the kitchen to find my parents.

Jaimy's mom (J/m): Hi sweetie, how did you sleep?

She asks in a sweet tone.

Jaimy: Okay I guess..

J/m: Your father and I decorated for Kelly..

Jaimy: It looks nice.. She would have loved it.

J/m: Your dad and I are going to your grandparents, Do you want to join us?

Jaimy: No, thanks for asking.

J/m: No problem sweetie, is there anything I can do for you?

Jaimy: No, thanks mom..

J/m: We are gonna go now. Your father is waiting outside in the car. I love you and call me if somethings wrong or if you need anything.

Jaimy: Love you to mom and I will.

She walked out of the house and shut the door behind her. I walked to the refrigerator.

''Great, there is literally no food. I guess I will go to the store then.''

I grabbed my car keys and got outside. If you would like to know how my car looks like here you go:

I started driving to this little supermarket nearby. I parked my car and walked inside. I immediately made eye contact with a boy who works here. I know that because he is wearing one of those stupid shirts that you have to wear if you work here and he is behind the cash desk. He gives me a warm smile. I quickly look away and started walking towards the sandwiches. I grab a chicken sandwich and a bottle of lemon water. I walked to the cash desk and placed my items down. The boy scans them while I look threw my purse for my wallet.

''You have got to be f*cking kidding me"

The boy: Something wrong?

Jaimy: Uhm.. Yeah I forgot my wallet, but it's okay I will put the items away.

The boy: No, no. This ones on me.

And again he gives me a warm smile. It gives me butterflie-

''hold up, I don't even know this kid. Calm down Jaimy''

Jaimy: You don't have to do that, I don't want you to get in trouble.

The boy: It's fine.. But in return I want your name.

I gave him a light chuckle.

Jaimy: Sure, I'm Jaimy, Jaimy Luddi and you are?

The boy: Payton Moormeier, I have heard of you before.

He started thinking.

''please don't bring up Kelly''

Payton (P): Ah now I know it, we go to the same school.

I giggled.

Jaimy: Well it's nice to meet you Payton and thank u for the stuff.

P: It's nice to meet you to and no problem.

Jaimy: Well I guess I will see you at school.

I say shyly.

P: See you at school pretty face.

He says in a cocky tone.

Jaimy: Cocky much?

P: Always.

I give him a smile and I walk back outside. I get in the car and started driving back home. When I arrived I got inside and started eating my sandwich. I turned on a movie. I tried to pay attention but I couldn't get Payton of my mind.

''He is the first one that made me smile after Kelly's incident..''
