All the bright places👼🏻 2-

I got pulled out of my thoughts, because I heard the frontdoor open.

J/m: Hi honey, were home!

Jaimy: Hi mom.

Jaimy's dad (J/d): Your car is parked different, did you go somewhere?

Jaimy: Yes, I went to get food at the little supermarket in the neighborhood.

J/m: Okay sweetie.

I went upstairs to my sisters room. I got in and immediately got a flashback..

//Flashback//

Jaimy: You ready for your prom?

Kelly: Yes! But I'm also freaking out.. I don't know what to wear and my date IS SUPER HOT!

We both started laughing hysterically.

Kelly: I can't wait till your prom..

Jaimy: Why?

Kelly: Because then I can help my babysister get ready for one of the most important nights ever!

//End of flashback//

I realized that my sister will never be able to help me get ready for prom.. Tears started forming in my eyes. She will never come back.. I started crying while looking trough a fotoalbum of me and Kelly. Pictures when I was born and she was holding me, all the way to the day that she past away.. The last picture we took together.

''I should go to the place where it happened.''

I put the fotoalbum away and started walking downstairs.

Jaimy: Mom! Dad! I'm gonna go for a drive!

J/d: Okay, just be careful!

Jaimy: I will.

I grabbed my bike out of the garage and started going to the bridge where the accident happened.. After ten minutes of cycling, I arrived. On one of the poles on the bridge they hung up a sign. It says: Drive save and watch your speed, In loving memory of Kelly Luddi. Then I felt my depression kicking in..

''I will never be able to see her again.. What am I gonna do alone. I miss her so much. She didn't deserve it I did..''

And before I know it I was standing on the edge of the bridge.

''I should just jump.. It will take my pain awa-''

P: Jaimy?

I got scared and jumped a bit.

Jaimy: No..

P: I see that it's you, I'm not dumb.

Jaimy: Just go away please.

P: No.. What are u doing?

I didn't respond. All of a sudden Payton climbs on the edge as well.

Jaimy: What are u doing?

P: I asked you first.

I rolled my eyes and stared into the river bellow the bridge. Payton started doing a funny dance.

Jaimy: Watch out you're gonna fall!

He extends his hand, motioning me to grab it. I stared at his hand for a good 5 seconds. Then eventually I grabbed his hand and we both jumped back onto the bridge. There was a awkward silence.

P: Need me to walk u home?

Jaimy: Uhm.. sure I guess.

I grabbed my bike and we started walking to my house.
