I wasn't completely sure who that would be, but I stood from my seat and picked the phone up as Mom didn't move.

" Hello?" I ask into the phone, my fingers were tracing the spirals of the cord.

" Paige? Hey it's Ian..Uh so turns out you left your phone in the hotel room.."

" Oh shit! I'm so sorry! Uh.. I can come get it now. Are you still at the hotel?"

" No, I'm outside your house." He honks the horn.

My face goes ghost white.

I hang up the phone, fix my hair and slip on slippers that were by the door.

I open it and see him standing outside his limo with my phone, and a coffee?

" Thought you may want this.."

" My phone or the coffee?" I raise an eyebrow.

" Both. " Ian answers. He had changed since I saw him last; now where a white cotton scoop neck tee, dark wash skinny jeans and a beanie. A look I'd seen on his Instagram, but never in person.

He looked even hotter.. and I slept.. with..him..

I give a slight smile as he hands me them.

" Sorry I'm still such a mess..I just got here & sat down. "

" No that's fine. You're cute. I like it." He chuckles.

Damn did he look hot with his little nose scrunch..

" Wait.. why are you doing all this?" I ask him. "Why me?"

" Honestly it was just a bold move I made. I thought you were cute and wanted to get to know you..last night was a bonus.."

I shove a piece of loose hair behind my ear.

"You don't think the age difference is weird?" I ask him.

" I think love is love. And if that's what happens with us I wouldn't be mad. If people have an issue with it, they can mind their business. "

I just nod as a process what he said.
Wait.. he wants more with me?

" I know this a lot, but I'm heading out of town tomorrow for the next stops.. I was thinking we can go on a hike or something? I can show you a little more about me.."

I'd be stupid to not agree to it.

" Yeah. For sure."

Ian kisses my forehead and opens the door to his limo," I'll pick you up around 2pm.. enough time to to see the sky change.."

I watch as he drives off.. I rush back inside and stuff my face with the food mom has set out.

"What happened?" Mom asks as she sees this event.

" He -" I finish chewing," wants to go on a hike later.. a hike. Me..I don't even go around the block... and he wants to hike.."

" Oh hun..."She laughs and rubs my back," Come one let's get you cleaned up and we'll figure this out.."
