Status: CompletedSo, it's about an another favourite book of mine.
The description is as follows:
Charlotte is on the run from a troubled past to start a new life, turn a new page and begin again. Little does she know that the new life she is about to start, is one that is only supposed to exist only in fairy tales.
What was a minor decision put her in the wrong place at the wrong time; a decision that will be burned into her memory, a decision that forced her to fight for her life, a decision that will turn her into a thing of fairy tales- and it only took one bite.
As some of you may have guessed it's a werewolf book. Yes, it's full of action. Yes, it has also romance, melodrama and much more.
So, the story follows Charlotte, a young woman who has a "rough" life and by rough a mean she is living in an abusing marriage. One day, because she can't accept anymore the abuse of her husband she runs away. But in her run, she turns up on a somewhat strange town. That's where the plot thickens.
"The Bite" is a story about abuse, family and love. The author shows you a glimpse in the "dark" life of the main protagonist but also you see just how powerful a woman can become even after all her continuous pain. The protagonist finds the lost strength she thought was gone forever and finds love. And no not only romantic love. That's what is beautiful about this story. You find yourself feeling warmth by just witnessing how she unexpectedly finds a family in a place she couldn't imagine. The main theme here in this story is family and of course love, romantic or not.
I always think that we as reader act as a person nearby or we are like an invisible being just watching the story unfold. The way also the story is written just helps you sympathize more easily with the characters too. That's a bonus. Which of course the author gives us.
The descriptive kind of writing from our author helps you also make a "cleaner" image for the story. Maybe you think that it will be boring but it isn't the case for this book.
As for the characters are portrayed as "humanly" as possible, which is an irony as they are also wolfs and yeah fictional characters. You feel for them, their pain, their love and sorrow. (Spoiler you will shed some tears for them). Buts that's what will attract you to this story.
So, go ahead and try reading it. You will absolutely not regret it.
Notice: Most of the books that will be recommended will be completed so as to help you not get anxious about the incomplete status. And also, not all of the books will be "famous". Some also will not have an ending you expect too, but that's the beauty of books and stories. You were warned!
Also another note : There are 3 books in total.
