"And Janus?"

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him"

Patton nodded as he sunk out to go check on Roman.

Patton immediately went to garden in the imagination. He knew that was Romans favourite place to go, no matter what mood he was in.

And he was right, he found Roman just staring off into the distance sitting under a tree.

"Hey Roman." Said Patton softly when he reached Roman.

"Oh hello Patton, I didn't see you there!" Said Roman, a little to happily considering what just happened.

"How are you feeling buddy?"

"Perfectly perfect in every way." Explained Roman.

"Are you sure? You don't have to hide your feelings anymore." Insisted Patton.

"Don't worry about me Patton. I was just upset in the moment, it's all good. I promise." Roman stated.

"O-ok Roman, come join us for dinner later." Stuttered Patton.

Patton was feeling very confused as he made his way to the living room. Roman seemed so sad when he sunk out and now he was perfectly fine? It didn't make sense. He decided to talk to Logan and Virgil about it.

"Hey guys?" Patton says as he entered the kitchen.

"Yeah pop star?" Asked Virgil.

"Yes Patton?" Questioned Logan.

"I think Roman is hiding his feelings again. He seemed so sad when he sunk out today, and now he's suddenly so happy. It isn't natural... Can you guys keep an eye on him for me please?" Explained then asked Patton.

"Oh no... Did Janus' words have that much impact on him?" Asked a very worried Virgil.

"I think so. Roman has always been sensitive about this subject. I understand why Janus reacted like that but he could have chosen better words." Logan stated.

"Thanks guys." Sighed Patton relieved

"Of course Pat. Me and Logan are going to start cooking dinner now. We'll call you when its ready." Said Virgil.

Patton nodded as he went to check on Janus.

"Hey Janus, wow it still feel so weird calling you that and not Deceit."

(Deceit is speaking truth the whole time in this one)

"Hello Patton. Can I help you?" Janus inquired.

"Actually yeah you can. Did you actually mean what you said to Roman today? About him being... Evil?" Asked Patton with a little shake in his voice.

"I- I'm not sure.. I don't think I meant it but I wouldn't say that I didn't mean it at the time. I was upset. I just revealed a big part of myself to you guys, and he laughed! I was hurt..." Explained Janus starting to cry a little.

"Hey kiddo it's ok! I get it, we'll I don't really but he just didn't know how to react. It was quite a different name but I like it! Roman just... Converted his surprise the wrong way. I'm sorry if you felt hurt. Really really sorry." Patton said as he consoled a shaky Janus.

"Thank you Patton. You're a good friend." Janus said softly.

Patton and Janus sat there hugging for a while because Patton knew he needed it.

Time skip to later tonight 

Virgil was awake late into the night once again because of his insomnia. He decided to go and get a glass of water even though he didn't really need it.

As Virgil left his room he heard some sniffles coming from someone's room, he assumed that one of the sides just had a little cold so he kept walking down the hallway.

As he got closer to Romans room though, he started to hear full on sobs.

'Oh no.' Thought Virgil as he moved closer to Romans room.

He knew there was no point in knocking so he just went in. 

He gasped when he saw disheveled Roman crying on the floor of his room.

Of course Virgil immediately rushed to his side.

"Roman? Roman! Can you here me?!" Virgil whisper yelled. Roman responded with a nod.

"Ok that's good. Uh- umm... Remember your exercise! In for four, hold for seven, out for eight. I'll do it with you ok? In, hold, out. That's good Roman. Lets do it again." Virgil instructed while Roman followed.

They repeated the exercise a few more times before Roman calmed down a little, still crying though.

"Virgil, am I evil?" Asked Roman, scared for Virgil's answer.

"Oh Princey, there's a time when I would've said yes, but now I can say with full confidence, no. You're not evil at all! You may not have reacted in the ideal way today but neither did Janus. He shouldn't have said that about you." Replied Virgil as softly as he could while pulling Roman into a hug.

"But Virge-" Roman tried to argue but was cut off.

"But nothing! You're an amazing person and I refuse to let you say this stuff about yourself. We may not see eye to eye all the time but I still like you." Virgil started. "Actually, better now than never... I love you Roman! I love the way you talk, the way you laugh, the way you smile, everything. I definitely don't show it, but I do." Virgil stated.

Roman looked shocked for a second, but then started crying again.

"Wait, no Roman. I'm sorry, please don't cry." Virgil exclaimed.

"I'm not upset Virge, I'm just really happy. All this time I thought you hated me. Its funny really." Roman laughed. "I love you too though Virgil, I really do."

"I- I don't know what to say... I didn't expect you would reciprocate my feelings. Um... Can I kiss you?" Virgil asked.

"Please do." Answered Roman as Virgil pulled him in for a kiss.

They pulled away without any breath and looked at each other with twin smiles on their faces.

"Wow." Roman laughed, blush dusted on his face.

"C'mon, time to go to bed." Virgil informed as he pulled Roman under the covers.

"Goodnight Princey."

"Goodnight Hot Topic."

Virgil sighed, perfectly content falling asleep in Roman's arm's.
