the walk to the park was comforting. it was just right around the corner so it didn't take me long to get there. the park was small but had a bench, a slide, and a couple swings. as i walked up i saw familiar blonde hair slowly moving back and forth on a swing slowly puffing away on a spliff. as i walked close he looked up at me and smiled. he smelt a mix between cologne and weed. it was sweet and nice. we talked for what seemed like hours before it became silent and Gustav looked me directly in the eyes before speaking "wanna come back to my place and watch a movie? i have roommates but they're all gone tonight." i nodded in agreement trying to hide how excited i was. hopefully he didn't end up like every other guy. i don't think i could handle that with Gus. we walked back to Gus's place which was a double story house not too far from mine. "when did you guys move here?" i asked confidently, "about a week ago, the guys have been here a couple weeks longer than i have though." we walked into the house and sat down on the couch in front of a large TV. Gus put on the Scooby Doo movie and we sat next to each other comfortably. after about an hour Gus asked if i wanted to crash there and spend the night and we could ride together to school the next day, he even said we could stop by my house in the morning before so i could change if i wanted, i could skip first period, i am after all a head of everyone in that class. i texted my sister to let her know, she's the closest person i've had to a best friend my whole life.

Izzie🌤 "A FRIEND!? OH MY GOSH HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!!! LOVE YOU!!!!"
i should've known she'd be happy i was out of the house for the night. "hey i told my sister id be spending the night." Gus whipped his head around with the biggest grin i've ever seen in my life which turned into him jumping on top of me shaking me with excitement, i couldn't stop laughing! "Hey do you mind if i post a photo of us on instagram?" he asked once he was out of his hyper phase he just had, "of course, i gotta post one of you then." "DEAL!" he nodded his head sharply. Peep posed as i snapped a photo of him and then then the same with me as i grabbed a random fake skeleton from the corner of the room. next thing i knew we tagged each other in the other person's photo, i was getting notifications left and right! i wonder why, that never happens.
