Damn brat. Who does he think he is? He can't just fly off like that. I never gave Eren permission to leave us. I let out a sigh of annoyance and I feel someone put their hand on my shoulder.

"Hey. You gotta trust the kid more ok? He chose to trust us. No one is going to force you but it wouldn't kill you." Petra said.

I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. I'm going to be the one to determine who I do and do not trust. Not her. Not Erwin. No one. I will know on my own what I think the right and wrong decision is to make and right now? Eren isn't listening to my orders.

"Watch out!" I hear Eren yell out and I thought he was talking to me. So I quickly looked up and expected a titan to be in my way but there was nothing. I just looked up to where he was and grit my teeth.

Tch.

Technically there was a titan but Petra and Jinn had taken it out with ease.

Eren! Come back here!!" I yelled at him. Now that I got a better look? I could see he was carrying someone. It looked like a female. She was wearing along white dress and had some sort of blades on her side.

Strange.

I saw Erwin stop as he took a good look around us. I also stopped and looked. There was a decent amount of bodies around here. Lots of steam.

What happened here?

Erwin was having a conversation with the woman. I don't really know what they were talking about. But once I'd actually decided to pay attention? They were exchanging their names.

"May I ask for your name?" Erwin asked her. I looked over at the woman and she smiled. Is that all she does? Smile?

"Why of course sir! I am Lady Y/N L/N. What is your name?" She asked him.

L/N...why does that sound so familiar?? I'm sure Erwin thinks so too from the face he made after hearing it...

Erwin introduces himself and I roll my eyes. What good does it do to introduce yourself to a complete stranger. If her being a complete stranger isn't enough? She said she was punishing the titans. What does that even mean?

My head hurts.

"Well, how about joining the scouts? You are obviously well trained. Taking so many titans down at once." Erwin said and my eyes widened. No way in hell am I going to serve with a total stranger.

"Woah, woah, woah!" I was very against her joining. I asked him how he didn't think about the fact that this girl could've just snuck outside while no one was paying attention. But then she did some very...stupid...things and I let it go.

Hange of course obnoxiously introduced herself and then me. If I wanted this weirdo to know my name then I would've told her. Hange has no right doing that to me.

"First things first, I didn't get the chance to see you fighting and would very much like to see it." Hange said. I looked over at her and I too wanted to see but wasn't going to say anything because this was stupid. We shouldn't even be trusting this woman and Erwin just blindly accepts her.

I snapped back to reality as I saw the girl run off. I again see Eren pick up the girl. What'd she call herself again?

Y/N...

Right.

They seemed to be talking about something as we stopped at the edge of the forest. A 14 meter was heading towards us.

Tch.

I went to tell Jinn to attack the monster but then I saw Eren throw Y/N.

"Eren! What the hell are you doing?!" And Eren just looked at me with a terrified expression plastered on his face. He yelled back at me.

"She told me to!!"

Hange, Erwin, Eren and I all watched the girl as she sliced the titan. After she sliced the nape though? She kept going. Heading head first for the ground. For some reason?

I started to panic a little.

"She's going too fast!! Jaegar! Catch her now!! Don't just stand there you idiot!!" I called out to him and I saw Eren spring into action but then he stopped.

"What are you do-."

"Shhh!" Hange covered his mouth and he bit her. She yelped as she pointed towards Y/N and I just watched. She had done a backflip and landed on the titans head. Then she basically rode it down down as it fell. She then jumped off and landed on the ground with her blades out in front of her.

"Damn it, I just cleaned these things!!" She exclaimed and I smiled a little. This was funny.

So the princess DOES know how to bad mouth.

Erwin and Hange rode over to Y/N and was complimenting her. I rolled my eyes and rode up next to them.

"Not to interrupt or anything? But we should head back. We've lost many brave scouts today and should go back for the people to see. Their deaths meant something." I said as I rode off.

We got to the wall and our horses galloped inside. I heard Y/N squealing in the back. She's really never been in the wall before? How has she survived for so long out there?

We rode back to our HQ and had some of the newer recruits put our horses away. Erwin, Hange, Y/N and I all walked inside and into Erwins office.

"Woah! You have so many books!!" Y/N said. She was clearly excited as she walked over to the shelf.
She picked out a book on the titans, "May I borrow this Sir Sm-Erwin?"

"You may. For now we have to figure out where you will be sleeping. We cannot put her with the cadets until we properly introduce her."

"Oh? I can sleep outside." She smiled and we all just kinda stared at her, "What? I've been doing it for years now." She laughed

"Hon? You mean to say that you've been sleeping in those trees for years?" Hange asked and Y/N just nodded and out her finger to her face. As if she were thinking.

"I actually have a home built in those trees. It's hidden quite well so the titans don't find me and try to knock my tree down."

"Absolutely not." Erwin said.

"What do you suppose we do than Erwin? We obviously aren't letting her sleep outside but we don't exactly have a room prepped at the moment." I said and he just nodded.

"I am aware of this. It seems as if she will have to share a room with one of us for the night." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"No way in hell am I letting this little princess sleep in my room." I said and Y/N looked at the ground. She looked upset and embarrassed.

"What's wrong?" Hange asks and Y/N just shakes her head and smiles.

"Nothing. I guess I'm just tired." She said.

Liar.

"Well, I suppose you could sleep in my room than." Erwin said, "There's a room actually connected to this office. As is their rooms and offices." He gestured toward us and she nodded.

"Ok. I shall take the floor." She said excitedly and Erwin shook his head.

"No. You will take the bed. I will take either the couch in my office or just at my desk. I have a lot of work to do." He said and Y/N looked sorry.

"Everyone may be dismissed. Hange? Please show Y/N around and get her something to eat. You all must be hungry." Erwin said as we all left. Hange locked arms with Y/N as I followed quietly behind them. She started talking about where to find everything and listing off all the people in her squad.

I sighed.

This was going to be a very long evening.
