Girl meets True Maya

it's been about a week since it was discovered that me and Maya were turning into each other and after taking some time Maya was finally coming back to herself but me I was still stuck in what I am right now it's like I knew I needed to change back but there was a part of me that didn't know how I mean it's not like I had anyone to help me I was all by myself riley was making sure Maya was okay as usual in fact it's times like this that really make me miss Lucas he was always there for me but since I've been going through this rebellious phase he hasn't been there much for me I needed to get him back maybe he can help me go back to the regular dani

"Pompeii Lucas" dad said cutting me from my thoughts "you mean farkle" Lucas asked looking up from his notes "I mean Lucas" dad said once again "oh" Lucas said in disbelief "I want to see what you know" dad said to him "okay here's what I know farkle" Lucas said and farkle then started to answer dad's question "well thank you Pompeii was an ancient village in Italy located near the beauty and culture of Naples it was an resort town where the wealthy would go to soak up the sun" farkle said "it was like the Hawaii of Italy" Lucas said making me smile "thanks Lucas" dad said "call on me anytime" Lucas said "let me tell you about a whole city that became very calm very quick now who here knows about mount Vesuvius" dad asked us "mount Vesuvius was a pent up boiling cauldron of I wanna do something" Maya said looks like she was turning back into old Maya "Vesuvius sat quiet for a long time but then it did what volcanos in time must do exploded" dad said "why does a volcano have to explode" riley asked dad "because if it doesn't it just blow up worse later Vesuvius wiped out the entire population of Pompeii it was one of the greatest nature disasters the world had ever known" dad said "okay then do it right now do what you need to do to be Maya put please don't wipe us all out peaches" riley said as the fire alarm then went off "that's it oh the fire alarm oh you sassy troublemaker fire alarm everybody this is bananas" riley was yelling as we all grabbed our books and stood up "okay single file everybody chu chu everybody find a safety buddy my safety buddy is Maya she exploded and now she's tired" riley said continuing to yell out "dani I didn't do it" Maya said looking at me and I nodded "yes you did but you can't do anything more for the next thousand years" riley said making me roll my eyes "hello students sorry about that a little glitch in the system false alarm our mistake back to work" the principal said over the PA system and we all went back to our desks "you didn't do it Maya the volcano" riley asked "no explodey" Maya said "do you need a nappy" riley asked her "wide awakey" Maya said making me sign "oh your gonna wipe out the whole village ain't ya" riley asked as I walked over poking my head beside Mayas "and the neighbouring towns" I said as Maya nodded with a smile

after school everyone went to the bakery while I decided to go home I wasn't feeling too good so when I got home I had a quick nap when I woke up I decided to do the one thing I was scared of text Lucas I texted him and he agreed to come over to talk so all I had to do was wait within a couple of minutes the window opened and in came Lucas "okay so what's up" he said as he sat down on the bay window "um I guess I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for breaking the promise and for acting the way I've been acting" I said as I went to sit down next to him "this isn't who I am and I want to change back to the old dani" I said as Lucas nodded "good because this dani doesn't work for me" Lucas said making me smile "yeah it doesn't work for me either or Aiden" I said as Lucas looked at me "I haven't really told anyone this but we broke up when I started rebelling he didn't like it and he dumped me which I guess is good I didn't really feel our relationship was going anywhere" I said as I looked at Lucas who wasn't looking at me but I did manage to see a small smile on his face which made me smile lightly though I don't know why "so how bad do you think Maya is going to explode" I asked breaking the silence between us "oh I don't know at the bakery she seemed pretty serious about doing something big" Lucas said as I nodded "okay the reason I asked you here is because I wanted to make sure that we were still friends" I asked looking at him "we are always friends dani I just didn't like seeing the road you were going down it was hard to watch because I went down that road before and it costed me a lot and I couldn't stand to see you not being the dani I know you are" Lucas said as I looked at him with a smile "thanks Lucas" I said as Lucas looked at me "anytime dani"
