"Chirp! Chirp!"

The small sparrow chirped in Tanjiro's face

"Okay, I get it! I'll do something!"

Tanjiro ran up to them leaving us behind

"(Y/n)-Kun? Shouldn't we-?"

Hiromi points at Tanjiro seeing him pulling the blond boy off of the poor girl

"He got this, don't worry"

I chuckled as the girls nodded

"What are you doing in the middle of the road?! Can't you see that the girl doesn't like it?! And quit upsetting sparrows!"

Tanjiro shouted with defined veins on his forehead

"Hey! That's a corps uniform! You were at the final selection!"

Blonde exclaimed remembering Tanjiro

"I don't know anyone like you! Trust me!"

Hurt by Tanjiro's words the boy retorted in panic

"HUUUUH?! BUT WE'VE MET! WE'VE MET! THE PROBLEM IS YOUR MEMORY!"

Ignoring the boy Tanjiro turned to the girl

"Everything's okay now. Go on home"

The girl thanked bowing, grateful for Tanjiro's help

"HEEEEY!! THAT GIRL LIKES ME! SHE'S GONNA MARRY ME!!"

the blonde boy cried out earning a slap from the girl

'We don't have time for this!'

I thought annoyed at this before motioning for the girls to run past those three

"Tanjiro we're going on ahead!"

I ran past him with the girls

"Alright! I'll be there soon!"

Tanjiro shouted while holding the girl back from assaulting the blond boy

'This must be it'

I thought seeing a mansion in the middle of the forest

"Hey! Are you two okay?"

Hiromi shouted seeing two kids hugging each other close to some bushes

"What happened? Is anybody inside?"

I tried to communicate but I got is nothing out of them

'damn, they're really scared'

Susamaru approached them pulling out her Temari

"Here! Wanna play with it?"

Susamaru crouched a bit bouncing the Temari against the ground as it jingled somehow calming those two a bit as they fell on their knees

"I-it's a h-house of m-monsters!"

We all thought in anger

"It took my older brother! We were out walking at night! And even without looking at us  it took my brother!

The boy cried holding his sister

"That must mean your brother is inside"

The boy rapidly nodded yes

"Y-yes, h-he was h-hurt so we f-followed his spilled b-blood"
