On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (R.A), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

When Allah created Paradise and Hell-fire, He sent Gabriel to Paradise, saying: Look at it and at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants. The Prophet (S.A.W) said: So he came to it and looked at it and at what Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants. The Prophet (S.A.W) said: So he returned to Him and said: By your glory, no one hears of it without entering it. So He ordered that it be encompassed by forms of hardship (forms of religious discipline that man usually finds onerous), and He said: Return to it and look at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants. The Prophet (S.A.W) said: So he returned to it and found that it was encompassed by forms of hardship. Then he returned to Him and said: By Your glory, I fear that no one will enter it. He said: Go to Hell-fire and look at it and what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants, and he found that it was in layers, one above the other. Then he returned to Him and said: By Your glory, no one who hears of it will enter it. So He ordered that it be encompassed by lusts. Then He said: Return to it. And he returned to it and said: By Your glory, I am frightened that no one will escape from entering it.

This hadith e qudsi explains the concept of Heaven and Hell in detail. Allah created the Heaven so beautiful that Jibrael (A.S) said no one would want to stay away from this place. Then Allah made the passage or entry to Heaven hard by covering it with hardships. Jibrael (A.S), on seeing the hardships said that no one will come towards it because of how hard it is to achieve.

The best things are the hardest to achieve.

When Allah made Hell and told Jibrael (A.S) to visit it, he said no one will enter it because of how destructive and harsh it is. Then Allah covered Hell with lusts and Jibrael (A.S) was asked to visit it. When he visited it, he said he was afraid that everyone would get caught in it's trap.

This is the extensive concept of Heaven and Hell.

The most beautiful, beyong imagination thing is the hardest to achieve while the most harmful thing is easiest to acquire.

Hence, life is a struggle. Human is always standing between Heaven and Hell and if he forgets his Lord, he will be diving in Hell but if he fears his Lord, then Allah will provide for him a house in Paradise.

Let's all read thrice:

Allahumma inni as'alukal jannah
W

a a'udhubika minan-naar
Oh Allah, I ask You Paradise and I seek Your protection from the Hell fire.

Allahumma inni as'alukal jannah
W

a a'udhubika minan-naar
Oh Allah, I ask You Paradise and I seek Your protection from the Hell fire.

Allahumma inni as'alukal jannah
Wa a'udhubika minan-naar
Oh Allah, I ask You Paradise and I seek Your protection from the Hell fire.

May Allah make the passage towards Jannah easy for us.
Ameen.
