5 Years later~~~

"Mom! What are we gonna do today?"

"How about mommy let you have a look at my old school life?"

"Yeah!" Takagi's daughter, Chi, said it excitingly.

Takagi kept finding her old stuff, and finally she found some album books which have photos of her junior high school and high school life.

"Mommy, let me find you!" Chi said.

"Sure!"

"Ah! I found you! you are right here! But where is daddy?"

Takagi didn't talk, and after a while she said

"Eh? you should try finding it one more time "

"Ok!" Chi quickly find her dad once again.

"Mommy! I still can't find him!"

"......maybe he is not in the photo."

"I see......"

Takagi's thought

(I know that, from the moment I rejected him, everything changed, I started a new life.)

Takagi keep flipping the album.

"Mommy? Why are you called Takagi? This isn't your name!!" Chi asked.

"Please come back soon!"

After the call, Takagi keeps finding more photos and sees it with Chi.

"Mommy! you look taller! and prettier!"

Takagi laughed.

"Of course, it is because I am already at high school."

Takagi touches her head gently and said

"Of course you will!"

"Oh, mommy, I found daddy in this photo!" Chi points at a photo which was taken in the university.

"So! how about finding more photos with daddy inside?"

20 minutes later~~~

Chi was asleep and Takagi was looking at the photo by herself.

(Nishikata...... if I don't reject you at that moment, everything will change.

Takagi took out the handkerchief.

(This handkerchief..... has all the memories inside.... I really wish that. you can always be at my side, Nishikata. every minute, every second.)

Suddenly , the door opened. Takagi's husband is back.

"Welcome back honey." She said.

"I am back. how is Chi?"

"She fell asleep, we were looking at the old photos."

"Eh? really? let me have a look too!"

"Sure!"

Her husband looked at the book, and said.

"Haha, I suddenly realized I didn't take a lot of photos with you at high school."

"Is fine, having one is enough for me."

"Having one Takagi is enough for me." He said.

"Me too, having one NISHIKATA is enough for me."

"I am glad that you accepted my proposal."

"I am glad that you propose to me too."

Two of them closed the album and watched TV together happily.

Explain: Chi can't recognize junior-highschool Nishikata because he is now a PE teacher and he looks much stronger now.

Takagi kept saying that she rejected Nishikata at that moment because Nishikata kept telling her she should keep on studying at the university because she likes it. But she rejected him because she knows that she is pregnant at that moment so she decided to stay at home.

Takagi kept saying that he "was" her best friend, because they turn into couple later on

"Yes, I will!" Takagi cried and said.

The people around them clapped their hands and they were all covered with joy.
