Sometimes we make decisions in life we better couldn't make, but we can't change something that already happened. Are all decisions we have to make in life fair? No, but you have to get through it...

They were already 3 years in a relationship with each other and their love for each other became even bigger with the day. The small midfielder who played for Arsenal, called Daniëlle van de Donk and the English attacker who played also for Arsenal, Beth Mead. A perfect couple, something they heard from many people.

They always shared everything they heard or knew with each other, even their deepest secrets. But what Daniëlle didn't know is that Beth got a call about an offer of Chelsea a few days ago. They offered her a contract for 3 years and Beth knew it would be an amazing chance for her to get even further in her career.

Chelsea had just amazing players and also many international players. But she also knew that Chelsea was the biggest enemy of Arsenal and she didn't want to get in trouble with her teammates. She loved her teammates and couldn't even think of losing her friendship with them.

''Beth you already stare for 10 minutes at that glass of water, it isn't gonna move or something,'' Daniëlle joked and Beth woke up from her thoughts. ''Something wrong? You can tell me everything hun,'' Beth nodded at the brunette and stood up. She walked to her bedroom and sat down on the bed to have some time alone.

The only thing that haunted her mind for the past 4 days was the offer of Chelsea. She also doubted whether she would tell Daan about it. But she was afraid that Daan would react shocked if she would say that she doubted about the offer.

She thought that Daan would probably react with something like 'Do you even have to doubt about that?'. And deep in her heart, she knew that that wasn't the answer she wanted to hear...

The brunette walked up the stairs to check if her girl was okay. She gently opened the door and saw the attacker laying on the bed, peacefully asleep. She smiled at her sight and closed the door softly after staring for some time.

Daan knew there was something wrong with the girl, but she didn't want to push her. We all have things in life that bother and that needs time sometimes. With that thought, the brunette drifted off to sleep on the couch.

It had been 2 more hard days for the blonde but she finally made her decision. She had accepted the offer of Chelsea and Arsenal had accepted the offer as well. The team didn't know yet and that's the thing that ate the blonde alive. She was scared for their reaction, but mostly for Daan's reaction.

The couple had their usual Friday night dinner at the sushi bar but the tension was different. Beth was pretty nervous because she had a plan in mind, telling Daan about Chelsea. Daan noticed how nervous the girl was and stopped eating for a few seconds, grabbing the girls' hand. ''Beff, what is bothering you?'' Beth became even more nervous and let out a big sigh.

''I have signed a contract for 3 years at Chelsea...'' the blonde said and she felt kinda relieved. The brunette felt otherwise. ''Y-you're joking right?'' she asked a bit shaky. The blonde knew this was al but good and got nervous again. ''N-no, I-I'm not joking. It's real...''

The brunette felt tears coming up in her eyes and Beth noticed it. ''Oh honey don't cry!'' she said while a tear ran down her cheek. ''Beff, how could you do this? You didn't even tell me about it. Do you even realize how this makes me feel?'' Beth could hear that Daniëlle was all but angry, just sad, very sad.

It hurt her so much to see her girl like this. ''Baby please stop crying, it will be fine okay! I promise! We will still have our dates and private time and stuff. Nothing between us will change!'' Daan looked up and this time there was to see some anger in her eyes. ''Leave,'' she said.

The blonde felt her heart broke and more tears came up in her eyes. ''W-what?'' she asked with her eyes full of tears. ''Leave! I want to be alone!'' Daan replied. You could hear anger in her voice but mostly sadness. The girl was broken and Beth felt so much sorry for her.

She stood up and looked one more time at her girl. ''Daan I-'' before she could even finish her sentence Daan looked up with her eyes full of anger this time and shouted ''LEAVE!'' The blonde burst out in tears and headed to the exit of the sushi bar.
