Howler

The next to worst thing besides death is detention. One for yelling in the great Hall and two for being out of bed all night. That's two weeks of detention. The worst is skipping breakfast and having to sit through history when all you want to do is sleep. But with a goust teaching is such a drag I wanted to just jump out the window just to have some excitement.
Lunch was great. That is when I saw a large barn owl fly down and land right on my head. I pulled off two letters from the bird before it took off to the Grifendoor table. I handing one to James as the other had my name on it. When we opened it they both stared yelling one was from Harry and the other from Genny. They were pissed to say it gently.
"What the hell haves gotten into you two!" It keeps going for almost the whole lunch "you both are grounded durning break for a week." I looked at James and he just picked at his food.
"What are you doing after class?" Asked Matty
"Detention for two weeks." I said staring at the empty plate.
"James?" She asked
"I got a week detention." He said
"But the fair is Saturday" she stated
"You will have to do it with out me." Said James
"Why are you even trying no one wants to go to your stupid fair we don't want to be cheated out of our money!" Yelled a Hufflepuff this just pissed me off.
I jumped up with everyone else staring at me. "Cat don't." Scorpius pulled on my sleeve to get me to sit back down.
"No! Lesson we are doing the fair to have fun to help everyone know that we are good people and not all of us are bad. You just can't see past your fucking ass pride that we are people to we can enjoy each other with out this stupid divide!" I yelled back
"Really I bet you can't even tell what the truth is!" He yelled back as he stood to face me. He threw a hex at me but my reflex was faster and the hex hit my sheld and bounced off the wall above the teachers.
"Nice try. Try this." I pointed my finger as I drew a circle in the air it glowed bright blue then I added the pentagram I was about to finish when a had grabbed mine and pulled me to the wall. I turned to tell to see my head of house staring down at me. Her hand firmly on my wrist. The circle vanished.
"Cat!" I froze as I turned to the head table and all the teachers where staring at me. "My office NOW!" Yelled Mcgonagall I was to scared to move she came up to me grabbed my wrist and pulled me to her office.
She showed me to a seat in front of her large red wood desk. There where panting of several old headmasters staring down at me. I felt so small I was trying not to throw up.
An owl flue in as she wrote a letter. She handed it to the bird and flue off. She the stood up and walked over to me. "I have to teach a class right now don't move." She ordered
"Yes ma-am." I sqeeked out as she left.
"Wow you messed up." I looked up at a man with dark black hair in a black robes staring at me.
"I only spock my mind and defended my self." I said
"So your one of those trouble makers." He stated
"I am trying to be friends with the other houses but they don't like us and we did nothing wrong." I snapped
"You don't know the honorable history of your house." Said the man
"It douse not matter what happened that was the past." I stated as I looked out the large windows to my left.
"You should know because you don't want to repeat it. Let me tell you about my godson. His name was Draco." He said and started to talk about him and Harry. His story was much more interesting than professor Barns history class.
I sat there tell I heard the door open. I turned to see Mcgonagall and Genny. She looked pissed as she came up to stand in front of me.
"Tell me the truth." She said I told here what happened in the main hall and she held her hand out to me. "Thank you Mcgonagall. I will take care of here." She said
"Thank you Mis Potter." She walked us out of her office down the stairs and to the gate. All in silence. She was mad I could tell but she was not yelling or hurting me at all. We walked tell the end of the bridge. "We are going to apperate home. When we get there go up to you room until dinner." She ordered. I swallowed the knot in my throat.
"Yes ma-am." I said and held on to her arm as the world vanished from view.
We ended up in front of our house. I spent only a month there before school started. I want up to my room and closed the door. I looked around and saw my trunk from school was already there at the end of the bed. I sat down and pulled out my Potions book and started on homework.
Genny came in with two piles of papers. "This is your homework for the holidays and the days you will be missing." She said as she put the stack on my desktop.
"Thank you." I said
"I will let you know when lunch is ready. Harry should be home around six." She spock softly to me.
"I did not mean to get in trouble." I said
"You might be in trouble by the school but not by me. I understand why you stood up for your friends but you should not have caused in the middle of the great Hall." She said with a smile "because of this you will be grounded tell dinner." She said I smiled back.
"Thank you."
"Now let me know if you are having any problems with your homework." She said and left me alone.
