Ellas POV
"Where are you taking me?" I ask Pearce as he doesn't respond.
"Pearce." I groan as he smiles at me.
"You suck at being surprised." He says causing me to roll my eyes.
"I don't want to be surprised but you keep trying to surprise me." I mumble as I shakes his head.
He pulls the car over in the middle of no where.
"Wow. You took me to the woods." I say as I laugh.
He grabs my hand and leads me to a blanket in the middle of the grass.
"Where are we?" I ask him.
"The middle of no where." He says as he laughs.
"Why did you take me here?" I ask him as I sit down.
"It's the perfect place to look at the stars and be alone." He says as he lays down on the blanket.
I lay down beside him and rest my head on his chest.
"There was something I umm wanted to tell you." Pearce whispers causing me to look away from the stars and look up at him.
"Okay." I whisper nervously.
"I just... I really like you and my feelings are kinda overwhelming and what I'm trying to say is I'm in.... I'm in love with you." Pearce whispers causing my eyes to widen.
"It's okay if you don't feel the same way I know I'm saying it really fast and I probably just scared you away..." Pearce rambles before I cut him off.
"Stop talking. I love you too and it isn't too soon to say it because I know how I feel now." I whisper back as he stares at me in shock.
He leans in and kisses me.
"Who would have thought fate would have brought us together." Pearce whispers as he holds me close to him.
