Waking up another morning, you couldn't see anything. Everything had lost its color - black floor, white wall, gray clothes. Even your blood was a strange mixture of those colors - it wasn't as red as you were told.
"It's the end" - you thought to yourself. You were rejected by your soulmate. It wasn't surprising - there were a lot of people way better than you. Gray tears were rolling down your cheeks. You couldn't help but wish to glare in their eyes for once - the eyes of someone, who made the colors of your world disappear. You wanted to know by whom you were abandoned, who killed all your hopes on the happy ending.
Still, you weren't the painter. There wouldn't be any lectures how to continue your live for you, you wouldn't be visited by different psychologists... No one had cared about an ordinary person losing the colors of their life - it was an average occasion, that's why you had to care about yourself. You should get used to that pain, gradually forget about the colors and continue your miserable life.
Could you, in your state, hope to do something meaningful? The chance is small, but... despite everything, you took a pen and started writing. You were imagining the alternative realities, gaining happiness and, sometimes, pain. You smiled, trying harder, and didn't notice, how your world was slowly returning to colors. For a second, you really felt the happiness.
"I want to help them. I want to turn someone's world into as many shades of happiness as I can, although I won't see even one of them. I wonder, what would their color be like?" - you said and continued writing your story.
You always could make attempts. You're not a painter, after all.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the first oneshot here)To be honest, I have horror and fluff oneshots also ready, but I think they aren't the stuff I write usually. So, I decided to give you the understanding of what I will write here mostly, hehe.
It is the soulmate au, in which if you were rejected by your soulmate, you would lose the ability to see colors. The only way to return colors is to kill the soulmate.
Anyways... Hope you enjoyed the story! See you in the next ones, hopefully)
