Cyan strolled carelessly down the shore side, listening to the sounds of the ocean and enjoying the gentle breeze that occasionally drifted by. He wasn't paying much attention to anything else, so he didn't hear the distant voice yelling his name. It was only when the person was almost right next to Cyan did he notice.
"Ahoy Cube!" Captain exclaimed, his strange pirate accent very obvious.
"Oh, hey Captain." Cyan said, slightly startled by Captain's sudden appearance.
"How did ye not hear me lad? I was practically screaming yer name!" Captain laughed.
"Sorry, I was zoning out. It's nice out here." Cyan sighed.
"Aye, indeed it is." Captain said slowly.
Captain walked along the shore with Cyan, glancing all around at everything. He was never the best at paying attention to one thing.
"Seas are calm today. Ye want to go sailing, lad?" Captain asked, glancing at Cyan.
"Sailing?" Cyan repeated.
"Aye, sailing! Like we used to!" Captain yelled, throwing his arms up in the air.
"Sailing... Is it weird for you?" Cyan asked.
"What makes ye ask that, lad?" Captain said.
"I mean you're a boat, and when we go sailing, we ride a boat. Is that weird for you?" Cyan asked again.
"Well, I suppose if ye thought about it, it is indeed weird, but I don't worry about the boat! I care more about the sailing! Maybe if we're lucky, we could spot ourselves a mermaid!" Captain sighed.
"Pfft," Cyan laughed, "A mermaid?"
"A mermaid!" Captain exclaimed.
"C'mon, what say ye, lad? Will ye go sailing with me? Me ship may not be the biggest, but she's a fine ship!" Captain said, desperately wanting Cyan to go with him.
"Well... I suppose..." Cyan muttered.
"Good to hear lad! Now c'mon! Before the seas get rough again!" Captain yelled, grabbing Cyan's hand and dragging him to the docks.
And to the docks they went, captain very excited to spend some time with Cyan, which he did not attempt to hide in any way. As he made sure everything on the boat was in tip-top shape, he pulled Cyan on to it and they set sail. The boat wasn't going incredibly fast, as the winds were gentle and they drifted along the calm ocean.
Captain couldn't help the huge smile on his face as he excitedly looked at everything around them. Though it was mostly just the ocean and the distant shore they drifted away from. Captain repeatedly found himself staring at Cyan for long periods of time, before noticing he was doing that and quickly directing his attention to something else. On one of Captain's now frequent stares, Cyan noticed.
"Captain? You alright?" Cyan asked.
"B-Blimey- Aye lad! I'm alright." Captain said, startled and blushing lightly before looking away quickly.
"Mhm..." Cyan said, eyeing Captain carefully.
"Is there something you want to tell me, Captain?" Cyan asked, a smirk on his face.
"I haven't the slightest idea of what yer talking about lad!" Captain exclaimed, "I don't have anything to tell ye!"
"Really?" Cyan asked.
"Aye!" Captain yelled, blushing harder.
"Then why are you blushing so much?" Cyan teased.
"I'm not!" Captain yelled again, his face boldly disagreeing with him.
"You sure this was only about sailing, Captain?" Cyan laughed.
"Aye! I'm sure!" Captain said, "What's so wrong about wanting to sail with me favorite matey?"
"Well if It's totally obvious you like your favorite 'matey', why would you just go sailing with them?" Cyan questioned.
"Of course I like ye! That's why yer me favorite matey!" Captain said.\
"You know what I meant." Cyan smirked.
Captain didn't say anything, he quickly looked away from Cyan and attempted to focus his attention to the sea, attempting to calm himself down so he would stop blushing so much 'I just had to make it that obvious! Of course I did!' Captain's mind screamed. Cyan walked up behind Captain and wrapped his arms around him, hugging him.
"You know, I don't mind that you like me." Cyan sighed.
"Huh?" Captain said, startled.
"Honestly, I like you too." Cyan smiled, hugging Captain tighter.
Just as Captain thought he was calming down, his face quickly heated up again and he was blushing madly.
"Shiver me timbers lad!" Captain yelled as he spun around and hugged Cyan back. "Ye mean it?"
"Of course!" Cyan giggled.
"Aye!" Captain exclaimed, "I've always liked ye! You're just... So likable! And I was just... Waiting for the right time to tell ye..."
Cyan pulled away from captain and looked up at him, "Well you're not that great at hiding things, so I guess I got to figure it out for myself!"
"Aye, you're right about that lad... I should probably work on hiding things better." Captain muttered.
Cyan laughed lightly, hugging Captain again. They stayed like that for a while, but after some time they decided to head back to shore, as the sun was setting. When they reached the docks, Cube, Heli, Circle, Triangle, and Pentagon were waiting there for them.
"Where have you two been all day?!" Cube exclaimed, "I've been worried sick!"
Cyan looked up at Captain and Captain looked down at Cyan. They both smiled and looked at Cube.
"We've just been sailing!"
