Quill pov.

I wouldn't say my first day at Lancaster's high school was bad, far from it, I did enjoy my first day at school apart from the boring classes, which I happens to not like but I had no choice it was great, I mean the rest was great, meeting the twin was great..

I doubt my mom will be pleased if I gave her the description of the twins, she will probably behead I and embryo, so as soon as we got back to the pack house after school we we were welcome by my mom sweet smell of spaghetti and chicken.

My mom was really a great chef at cooking but my dad?

That man knows his way around the kitchen, to Gawd his food beat my mom's hands down..

I really wanted to see more of the old him but after the earlier meeting he had with the Goddess of the Creatures of the night, he hasn't been the same.

Most times he's either locked up in his chamber or out with the councils, my mom said to let him be and we did as we were told, I sat down on the ice tool carrying my legs on the table while embryo sat opposite me tapping his fingers on the table I guess he was dying to taste mom's cooking..

"Young man, your leg off my table or else you won't have them again" she snapped immediately she arrived at the dinning room with a bowl of chicken which got me drooling..

"Hey!!! Close that mouth of yours, you wouldn't want eleven hills flies all over you, would ya?" embryo smirked making my mom grin as she placed the different bowl on the table "no touching and quill take your legs off the table this instinct! And you might as well use the opportunity to go call your father" was all she said before disappearing into the kitchen, I sighed as I looked at embryo smirking at goddess knows what "what with you and the sudden smirk" I asked annoyingly

"Oh, it nothing, just do as mom says otherwise you won't get to ride your mate when the moment comes" he smirk deepens while I took off my legs and rushed out of the room the moment my mom presence was making known, I headed to my room toss my back and going towards my dad's chamber...

I arrived to noticed the door closed, I knocked and heard my dad's husky voice which I unfortunately inherited

"Dad" I stepped in "mom Calling you for dinner" I said to him making him glance at me with a smile.

A broken smile, I could tell

Why?

Because he's my dad and I have lived with him all my life...

"Your mom need to stop starving us at midnight" he said smirking making me chuckle..

Yeah it was just after five, she always serve dinner at this times..

"Why don't you tell her, after all she is your mate" I propose which got the smile of his face and was replaced with a grin almost immediately but I did catch the sadnesses
