Ch 5: I Told You!
I opened the door to my car grabbing Sydney's hand. Today, was the day I dreaded. Every year the court grants Sydney one time to visit her "father". I didnt tell Roman because I know he wouldnt have let me go, but Sydney it wasnt her fault! It was mine.
"Mommy, I cant wait to see Daddy! Cant you?" She asks pulling on my arm
I look down at her nodding my head! I pick her up in my arms pushing threw the doors!
The officer looks at me gently smiling and showing my way to our private visitation room. I thank him shutting the door and letting Sydney go.
I look out the window staring outside. I hear the door open, and a chill goes down my back as I hear his raspy voice.
"Daddy!" She yells
I watch as he picks her up, kissing her cheek!
"Rebecca" he simply says
"Jonathan"
He puts down Sydney sitting down on the table infront of me. I hand Sydney my phone plugging in her earphones so she could listen to music. I sit down across from him and as far away as I could!
"How are you Rebecca"
I roll my eyes leaning back on my seat.
"Like you care." I say sarcastically
He clenches his jaw and nods his head. He reaches across the table but I quickly back away!
"C'mon dont you remember all the good times we used to have." He says smirking at me.
I felt a lump in my throat. This fucking asshole.
"If "fun" times is forcing me then yeah, what a fucking blast." I say
He gently breathes in and out, and I knew exactly what I was doing. "Making him angry"
"Listen Rebecca-"
"No, you listen asshole! The only fucking reason you were not guilty and why im here, is because you have witnesses and I had nothing! I pray to Lord everyday that im so happy you were charged with abuse or else if would still be the same old shit! Im here and your time is up!"
I grab my bags and Sydney picking her up and leaving.
I cant believe I just did that....

ROMAN'S POV
She lied to me. Why? I wasnt going to be mad, I just wanted one fucking honest answer, but no. Nothing!
I watched as she came out of her car, holding Sydney's hand. I sat on the couch as she came threw the door.
"We need to talk." I say.
She pushes past me, and puts Sydney in our room watching Frozen. She closes the door, and walks over to me sitting across from me.
"I know you lied to me. Again!" I simply say
She looks at me and simply nods. Like she didnt care that she lied to me.
"And?" She says leaning back in her seat.
I clench my fists. She knows she is pissing me off, but its amusing her.
"And it didnt give you one damn thought to come and tell me! Your boyfriend?" I whisper yell
She rolls her eyes and looking around the room smiling.
"My life is my fucking life. You dont have any write to know anything. Do you got that. I gave you one chance and right now im starting to re think it. Just leave me the fuck alone right now."
Right as he was about to say something I heard a loud knocking on the door. I pushed past him and opened the door
"Not you!"
