**Daryl's POV**
I can't believe how little she has changed, yet I didn't recognise her. She was the exact same broken bird I'd met when we were teenagers. I remember that night we met and she passed out; I carried her to lie down. She was just as tiny... just as fragile.
Minutes previously she had been shot.
After she fell down the creek I almost immediately ran after her. It was almost as if I couldn't stop myself. Sprinting down the hill I lost my footing and stumbled, narrowly avoiding a massive branch at neck height. But then I reached her...
I scooped her out of the water, my hand desperately searching her neck for a pulse. It was there, but it was weak. A weight seemed to be lifted off my shoulders. I waded through the waist high water with Louise carefully placed in my arms. Once I reached the sand I lay her down. This was the moment I realised the severity of her injury.
She was gon' bleed out if I didn't get her back to the farm soon.
Like hell was I gonna be able to get up that steep hill with her in ma arms, I had to take a longer route. As fast as I could I ran towards the farm. My feet were burning but I didn't care. I just couldn't stop.
As I stepped out of the line of forest I could see the farm on the horizon. My pace quickened, I don't quite know how but I did. I managed to make out the RV, there was two people on top, from the hat I recognized it as Dale. 'M guessin the other was Andrea. Four people were running towards me. "Daryl, who's that?" said Rick, concern plastered all over his face. "That don't matter, she's been shot, we gotta get her to Hershel" I said, through rushed breaths. "Give her 'ere" said Shane. Reluctantly I handed her over, I know that Shane is stronger than me, he will get her to Hershel quicker. We all began to run back to the farm but I didn't get far. I heard a bang and before I knew it I was on the ground.
"Son of a Bitch" I shouted, "she shot me" I dabbed my head with my hand and I was greeted with an oozing red liquid. Rick and T-Dog rushed over to me. That must've been when I blacked out.
