I run faster tracking them hoping to catch up with them soon, then realized me being in wolf form might be a threat, I shift and end the tracks there hoping this will lead Zirx away
I scent the air, they're close i run to catch up to them
"Reznov!"
He turns around
"Socrates!"
**Mayzie's pov**
Socrates found us
"Did you run in to Jamie? I smell her on you"
"Yes, I went looking for her to help but I see you got to Reznov before I did. Thank you Mayzie, but uh... you should have hidden your trail"
"I'm sorry Socrates I was a little busy helping out your brother here see he has broken bones and several other wounds. If i hadn't found him, He could be dead. So I couldn't exactly hide our trail but I could fight Zirx if he found us so screw off fuck nugget" i snapped back at him
"Fuck nugget?" He asked laughing
" yes fuck nugget. Don't question it" i said laughing with him
"Ohkay then.." He said walking up to help me with Reznov

As soon as we got Reznov to the safe house I took off his bandages and cleaned his wounds, Socrates had to hold him down... he was getting badly beaten by a hurt Reznov, I'll never understand the relationship between these two knuckleheads.
After his wounds are clean I bandage him back up and take him to the other room to heal, I set crutches next to his bed and go out to talk to Socrates.
"He wanted me to wait for you you know.." I said breaking the silence
"Thank you Mayzie, for helping him, especially after all he's put you and your sister through"
"I think he sees now that being alphabeta isn't easy, that's why I turned it down, Zirx thought he could set Jamie against me, but kinda like I have seen you be with Reznov, we're there for each other, even when we're angry at each other"
"That's not how it is with me and Reznov. At all. We're easily turned against each other, especially when it comes to something like this, power..."
"We'll I'm sure if you join our cause Jamie would make you both Alphas"
