jseph was led on top of a hospital bed, wonho tended to his wounds before looking up and smiling at somin.

sheepishly, she smiled back before sitting on a chair in the corner.

"so are you going to explain?"

Wonho nodded before wrapping jseph's leg for the last time.

"after the whole kidnap thing, kard still wanted me to continue. they wanted you all gone but I couldn't bring myself to hurt any of you. especially since you are just kids. although you hurt me and you killed my only family, I couldn't bare to see you guys hurt. kard was being manipulative and cruel. so I faked my own death and fled to the states."

somin intently listened to every word wonho had to say. it was so interesting, some day she knew that this is what she'd have to do. what they would all have to do to live a normal life.

"when I arrived  here I didn't know many people. it was a struggled to make alliances until I heard about matthew. I showed up to his works when he was with friends and just acted like an old friend. despite him knowing my past he invited me in and helped me out. matt let me stay at his place and even provided me with food before I could buy it myself."

"that does sound like Matthew. but what happened to him?"

"while trying to help me, the same guys who were hired by kard to kill jseph came. matthew put up a good fight but not good enough. they drugged him and threw him into a cat, driving miles away from here. last time I physically saw him was like 2 months ago. he was beaten down but I simply told the kidnappers I was there for business and they allowed me in. that's when I gave him back his phone. ahh right!! he gave me his phone and I went through old chats. he wanted my to tell you-"

jiwoo ran through the door in a panic. her forehead dripped with sweat as she stared at the two conversing.

"they..."

she continued to pant.

"they are here! I don't know how they got here but they found us. is jseph okay?"

wonho nodded and escorted the three of them to the back door.

"the big guy will drive you there. and by big guy I mean hyungwon . be kind to him he has had a hard time"

the three young adults climbed into the car and began their journey to rescue matthew.

but somin still hadn't found out what matt had to say.
