Warning: Death, guns and triggering events
Sirens whaling in the distance. Red and blue flashing lights in the dead of night. Gunshots at the beat of the music. Heads falling at the drop of the song.
They didn't expect this.
They didn't expect this to be the last night of their lives. They didn't expect to colour the street floor with their blood. They didn't expect to met god so soon.
Holding their lovers hand as they begin to feel their cold blood stream down their face.
Shaking in a bathroom stall as they text their love ones goodbye.
Crying because their best friend just got shot. Begging god to have them stay alive.

You see 49 people, I see 49 kids, parents, friends. I see 49 people who fort for the right to hold their love ones hand. I see people who were just trying to be themselves until someone robbed them of their lives. I bet they're use to that.

Learn the names of the ones who just wanted to live their lives
The ones who took pride in who they are
The names of someones child
Think of how someone got someone removed out of someones life
Think how they wanted to dance with their lover and hold them in their arms
Think about how they had to die in their arms instead
