~Chapter 1

-I could still hear my mom yelling down from the stairs, "NYELLI, STEVEN." Even with the blare of my music because that's just how damn loud she is.

-It was about 11 am when she called us down because she had made pancakes and needed to have a conversation with us. I wonder what about.

-"So as you all know Nyelli will be 16 tomorrow, Steven you still have until next year." Mom said in a calm voice. "Me and your father have plans for tomorrow for you so don't plan anything."

-After eating brunch we all helped clean. Since I was young I noticed these odd birthmarks on my parents but they were the exact same in the exact same spot. I've always wondered why so now is my time to ask her.

-"Mom I have a question." I said in a confused tone. "Sure, what is it honey." "Well I was wondering what those birthmarks that you and dad have are. I mean same spot same shape that's pretty odd, especially since you guys are husband and wife not related." I said hoping that they weren't related because only god knows.. right? "We are not related Nyelli. Its just.. a coincidence that's all." "Okay mom if you say so."

-She definitely knew I didn't believe her. Which I don't. There is no way it is so coincidental that they have the same exact birthmark. It's in the shape of a diamond. Eh whatever i'm over it for now.

-My text message chime went off. Oh yay Ian finally texted me back!

ian 🥺: hey beautiful, sorry for no response my phone died.
me: no worries, facetime?
ian 🥺: of course

-"Hii bestie" I said in a happy voice. Ian doesn't usually come out of his house much, he doesn't really like people and he's more of an anti-social type of guy. But if it's for me he'll come. We've practically been bestfriends since birth and i'm just about the only person he hangs out with other than Kat. They have the best friendship as well.

-"Hey Ny, excited for tomorrow?" "Sure am, although I still don't understand my mom and dads birthmark. I have to figure this out it's irking me." "I'll help, I can do some research?" "Yes pleaseee" "Alright i'll call you in a bit. Love you" "Love you too."

-We got off the phone and I grabbed my computer and jumped in the bed. I tried searching up why would two hav the exact same birthmark in the same place but right when I did that he texted me. Well that was quick.

ian 🥺: So I found something that says soulmates get the same birthmark on their 16th birthday but maybe it's not true. Could be a myth.
Me: I don't think so. If it's true would Michael have to find someone with the same birthmark as him which would hopefully be me?
Ian 🥺: If so, nothing yet for him.
Me: You'd get yours tomorrow as well since me and you have the same birthday and all.
Ian 🥺: With my luck she probably lives in china.
Me: Don't say that Ian you'll find someone trust me.
Ian 🥺: Sure I will.
Me: I'll text you later, stop doubting yourself nerd. Love you xo <3
Ian 🥺: Whatever you say dork, Love you too. <3

-I need to talk to Michael but I really don't have time for 20 questions right now. Funny thing is Kat would have her's already too. What if she got Ian? Maybe he does have luck after all. His brother gets his next year same as my brother. Caroline is gonna get hers in not too long. About 3-4 months. I'm just gonna take a nap I'll call him later.

About 2 hours later

-I opened my eyes slowly to the sight of my doofus brother standing in front of me. "Yes Steven?" "Mom said to wake you up for dinner." "I'll be down in a minute" He have me a thumbs up and went downstairs. I turned over and spread all over my bed. I let out a big sigh and grabbed my phone to text Michael.

Me: Hii, I have a question.
My Lovee ☺️❤️: I might have an answer.
Me: Well have you gotten any suspicious birthmark that you've noticed since your 16th birthday?
My Lovee ☺️❤️: Well not that i've noticed but I can see if there is one that hasn't been there. Talk to you later?
Me: Sure, byee.

-That definitely wasn't a good enough answer for me. Once I set my mind to something I need to find that out then and there or it's gonna bug me. I guess I can wait.
