"I think we are near the town where the next contest is held, do you by any chance see Harley?" Asked Drew, starting up the conversation.
"I don't think so, I'll tell you if I se-" A loud voice interrupted May.
"Hey guys! Come have a closer look!" They turned as they heard a voice and saw a person running to them with some friends tagging along not far behind him as soon as they arrived the next city.
"Is this the famous May, the talented coordinator, the daughter of one of the strongest gym leader, Norman?" May and Drew both shivered, sweat-dropped, and gulped (yeah just like whenever they meet Harley) and muttered 'deja vu' under their breath.
May was almost freaking out there because she knew this was gonna end up like what happened last time with Drew, and froze in place because she doesn't want to be mean especially to her fans who supported her, so she came to a conclusion to hide behind Drew and grip his shoulders tightly, both of them hoped the other didn't notice the red that is almost turning to purple on their face because of the closeness of each other.
At the same time, those guys were already over to them and asking her to be their girlfriend. May was helpless at that time, so all she can do is to pray that Drew would stand up to them and help her, like what she did for him last time.
Luckily, her prayer was answered because Drew was thinking, 'if May stood up for me last time, it's time for me to help her. It's only because I owe her one, and she's my friend, nothing like because I feel jealous of other guys flirting with her or that I'm in love with her...'
But deep in his mind he knew the last sentence was true 😏.
"Hey, I know she'd make a great girlfriend, but not for you because too bad! She's already taken!" Drew said.
"Taken by who? And who might you be to say that?" One of the guys said.
"Taken by me, and for your information, I'm her boyfriend" He grinned at May, who was still holding onto him from behind, " which she admitted herself."
"Hey stupid grasshead, I did that just to save you from those killer whales." she muttered in an annoyed voice just loud enough for him to hear.
"Now, do you want to be swallowed by these sharks or not? I don't think you do, so just shut up." Drew replied.
"Prove it! We don't trust you!" The same guy said.
"You should know it if you read the magazines, that video is all over them!" Drew shouted back to the guys as he decided to take advantage of what those girls and Harley did.
"Bill? I think what he said was the truth, this guy's Drew, the one on the magazine with May, a friend of that Cassie girl in our department filmed May when she said she was his girlfriend." Another boy muttered to Bill, the guy from before.
(Big Hint!)
"Humph, dating doesn't mean anything, have you even kissed? I don't think you have, so it doesn't mean anything!" Bill shouted back to them.
"You're right, we haven't kissed. But if dating doesn't mean anything, I'll make it mean something." Drew replied confidently as he turned around to face May swiftly, bent down a little, since puberty finally hit him and he's now taller than May, and cupped her face.
And... They kissed.
(Not gonna write anymore fluff)
"Does it mean anything now?"
"Bill! JZ filmed them doing it! Our work is completed! You saw how Boz Harley rewarded them! We'll probably get the same reward as them! Let's go back to the office for now!" A boy beside him whispered to him.
"Ugh fine! Hope you guys break up soon! I'll come back for you!" Bill shouted and scurried off with his friends, just like what happened with the girls last time.
As for our favorite couple, they are still frozen in place, thinking about what just happened.
"Ouch!" May cried as she pinched herself sharply.
"Ermm, May, why are you doing that? You know very clearly that this is no dream right?" Drew said.
"Well, you never know! So I just checked, and is it not a dream?" May's statement turned into a question.
"Didn't you just checked? And for your information this is not a dream, unless you dream of us kissing every night?" Drew teased.
"What! Of course!" May blushed as she defended herself. "Just sometimes..." She whispered.
"What'd you say? Didn't hear ya!" Drew said.
"Uh, nothing, nothing! Really!" She defended.
"If you say so, but I have a bad feeling about those guys, I hope they don't work for 'Coordinators Weekly and take a video of it again... That was embarrassing..." Drew said again.
"It's... Embarrassing?" May said, sounding a little disappointed.
"No no! I don't mean it that way!" Drew said, hoping to cheer her back up.
"Yeah, I know, and how are we gonna tell Harley that it's fake now?" May questioned.
"Well, it's impossible to tell him that now, so how about let's make it a real thing?" Drew asked genuinely.
