***Hey, I'm sticking to my promise. But this is going to be quite short, sorry. Bye my peanut unicorns. xx***

Jessie's POV

I had been sat in the corner for what felt like 5 minutes, and I felt a shadow looming over me. I looked up to see a girl, around my age, with red hair and snake bites looking down at me. She had a Motley Crue shirt on, like mine, and a red hoodie. She crouched down so she was at eye-level with me.

"Hey." She said in a calm, soothing voice. "You're Jessie aren't you?" She asked. I nodded and she smiled at me, taking a seat on the floor. Do I know her? I thought to myself. I smiled back at her. "Well, it's nice to meet you Jessie, I'm Lex." She held out her hand, and I shook it. I felt like I could trust her.

"Hi Lex." I said in a small voice. "Do I know you?" I asked. She smiled, then answered.

"Yes and no. We go to the same school, and I know your name cos there are a bunch of hot guys looking for you." I giggled at the last part, and so did she. Then I recognized her.

"You're in most of my classes! I sit next to you in english, and across from you in maths!" I exclaimed. She chuckled and nodded.

She helped me stand up, and explained how she worked at the music shop, and how much she loved music. She plays guitar, drums, and she sings and screams a little.

Just as we were talking, I saw Andy running in.

"Oh God! Lex you gotta hide me!" And as I said that, she pulled me into what I assumed was the back-room.

"Stay here!" And with that, I nodded and she went back out.

"Hi." Lex said casually, "How can I help you today sir?" She sounded so natural. I heard Andy's deep voice answer.

"Yes you can. I saw my sister talking to you, and I want to talk to her please." He was panting. Sister?!

"Sister?" Lex asked.

"Well, she's a friend, but she's more like my sister and I'm really worried about her an-" He got caught off by the Batman theme-tune. Shit! My phone! I looked at my phone, and it said "Unknown Number." I pressed answer, just to hear Ashley's voice booming through the phone.

"Jess! Where the hell are you? We've been looking for you for half an hour!"

"Ash calm down. Andy already found me anyyway." Tears started coming out of my eyes. "I'm really sorry I lost it on Jinxx. I'm sorry I screamed, you must all hate me now. I get it though. I hate me too." I was sobbing really hard, and it was getting hard t breath.

I heard shouting between Andy and Lex, but I couldn't focus on it. I couldn't focus on anything right now except for the sound of my heart pounding in my chest and the pain in my lungs. I was getting really warm. I dropped my phone and took of my hoodie, exposing my scarred skin. I fell on the floor, realizing that I was having a panic attack.

I heard the door slam open, and more shouting. "No! STO-"Le started, but stopped once she saw me. Andy came towards me and I backed away as quickly as possible.

"Please don't hurt me! I'm so sorry just don't hurt me Andy!" I begged him. He looked shocked. He took another step towards me and I crawled backwards some more.

"Jess, I would never hurt you. Just please calm down! Come here sweetie." He said calmly, opening his arms. I practically jumped into them, sobbing my heart out. He was trying to calm me down, but it wouln't work. Only CC knew what to do.

"I...Need...CC...Now!" I said, in between the painful breaths. I saw Lex run out, then heard her start yelling CC's name out, until he came running through the door.

"JESS!" He yelled, pulling me out of Andy's arms, making me straddle him. He looked me in the eyes, and put his forhead against mine, telling me to calm down, and to breath.

After about 5 minutes, I was reduced to a whimpering wreck in CC's arms. Andy had left the room. I sat up, still straddling Chris, and saw him staring at my arms, tears evident in his eyes. After what I did to Jinxx, I wouldn't be suprised if they hated me, and, as I said to Ashley, I hate myself right now too.

I stood up, and picked up my hoodie and my phone. I put my phone in my pocket, and just held onto my hoodie. I didn't care if anyone saw now. Andy had probably told everyone.

I walked out of the room, leaving CC there, and saw everyone, talking to Lex and Andy. Probably asking what had happened. As soon as they saw me, they started walking towards me, until they noticed my arms. Then they stopped and just stared and me, including Lex.

I calmly walked past them, and down to Hot Topic, and saw Jack and Heather talking to eachother with worried expressions on their faces. They turned to face me and Heather gave e a sympathetic smile.

"Come here chica." She said, opening her arms. I walked over, put my hoodie on the counter, and wrapped my arms around her waist. I felt Jack join in and it made me smile.

We stood there for a little while, before I heard CC clear his throat. I didn't look up though. Heather passed me over to Jack to cuddle, but I didn't mind. Jack was very cuddly, and warm.

"Is she okay?" I heard Andy say. He sounded concerned.

"I don't know, but she's staying it mine tonight." I heard Heather say. Then I heard about 3 footsteps come towards me, before she interupted. "Umm...I think you should just go. She's had a long day." I heard a pen scribbling on paper, and then CC spoke.

"Just give this to her, and my numbers on the back just in case. And tell her I love her, no matter what." The last part made a small smile appear on my face. After that, I heard a chorus of "Bye"'s andd "See ya"s and stuff like that, then heavy feet walk out of the store. But not before I heard someone sniff as if they were crying.

"I screwed up big time, didn't I?" I mumbled into Jack's chest. It was a rhetorical question, but Jack still answered.

"No sweetie, you've just had a bad day. You two can go now if you want, business is slow today anyway. And it's almost closing time." I smlied up at him and grabbed my hoodie, putting it on.

"Uhh...Heather?" I asked my voice cracking a bit. She looked up at me from her bag and coat, and smiled.

"Yeah chica?" She replied, standing up, putting her coat on.

"Could I bring a friend with me?" At this she smiled and nodded.

"Sure, does she work here?" I nodded. "Alright, you go get her, and I'm gonna make sure I didn't forget anything." I smiled and headed up the stairs towards the music shop. It was up 3 floors. How the hell did I run up here in 30 seconds?! I asked myself, astonished.

I got to the shop, to see Lex taking of her badge and putting it in her bag. I walk up to her and tap her on the shoulder to get her attention. She turned and looked at me, and as soon as she saw me, pulled me into a bone-crushing hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" She said, making me smile.

"Choking. Not breathing." I said wheezily. She let go and smiled at me. "Hey umm...I'm going to my friend Heather's house tonight, and I was wandering if you wanted to come. You two would really get along, and we kinda hit it off, so I just wanted to know." I smiled at the end, looking down,

"I would love to. I'll let my folks know on the way."I looked up and hugged her. She didn't hesitate to hug me back. "Come on," She said, letting go of me, "Let's go." And with that, we were off.

We spent the whole night watching movies and playing truth or dare. Heather and Lex got along really well, and I felt a whole lot better. The note that Chris wrote said:-

"Jess, we all love you. And Jinxx said no hard feelings. He doesn't blame you. Ashley told me what you said on the phone. No one here hates you, and I really hope you didn't mean it when you said that you hated yourself. I'll call you in the morning. The guys wanna meet at the park at around 12, the one near Heather's house. I hope you make it. Love you forever, CC. xxx"
