"There's a devastating accident that occurred in front of the construction site for the new school. According to witnesses around the area, the victim was hit by a falling debris from the construction site. Here is one of the witnesses' statement:

"It was just a normal day, everybody was going about their own business. I was sitting beside the window in the coffee shop in front of the construction site when I saw a girl running near it. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but the second I blinked, I heard screams of terrors from the people who witnessed her death."

Everybody stopped what they were doing at the time to help the girl. But alas, she was already dead—"

Her fist crumpled the paper as fresh tears rolled off her eyes. It was her fault that she's gone. If only they hadn't met, then this wouldn't have happened. She heaved out a heavy sigh, trying to calm herself.

Her eyes were fixated towards the place where her body used to be squashed. It was one hell of a gory sight. She looked away and back to the crumpled newspaper. She sighed and folded it in a small size. She pocketed the paper and sat at a rock near the site.

She watched as men build the school. It was until a year after that they finally finished the school. The townspeople were delighted about the new school.

She looked around as the passersby eye the new school in excitement for their child's future. Her brows furrowed as she didn't understand what the importance of it was.

Jumping down her tree, she looked at the tall school building in front of her and decided she'd take a look inside.

Upon passing through the doors, she noticed the clean interior of the building. She walked inside, looking around and admiring the facilities installed inside. She was especially amazed by the tiny cubes that is hollow inside. She walked off into the upper floors, peering inside the empty classrooms. She wondered how many children can fit in one of the rooms.

She stopped at the third floor, feeling tired from all the excitement. She decided to catch a break in a room.

Stumbling upon a bathroom, she eagerly opened the door and walked inside. She looked around and noticed the strange doors on the right side of the small room. There are even some weird white bowls and a reflecting glass.

She shrugged it all off before going straight towards the beautiful tinted window of the room. She sat the wooden windowsill and opened the window. She was looking down at the people scurrying home. It was now a late afternoon and the orange glow of the sun made her relax.

She grabbed the newspaper that she kept after her death. Sighing, she read the newspaper again and again, up until the last month of last year.

A few days had passed and she woke up, hearing a lot of noises coming from the building. Her brows furrowed in confusion before getting up from her little corner inside the bathroom. She stretched and yawned, noticing her window was open. She closed it and decided to check the noise.

She quietly walked out of the bathroom and into the hallway. She eyed children talking with each other in excitement. She noticed their weird clothing, as all of the girls seemed to wear the same type of clothes and the boys wear a somewhat heavy looking clothing. Everything made her felt weird.

She was also curious about why they are there. But nevertheless, she decided to investigate for herself.

"Hey, have you heard about the death of a girl here?" She stopped after hearing that. She looked at the people who were talking— gossiping about her death.

"That one? Yes, I've heard," she frowned and looked away from the two, rushing pass them and returning to the task at hand.

She walked down the stairs and looked at every room she encounters. She then decided to look at the room where she found teachers.

She peeked inside the room and noticed the older people sitting in their own stalls. She walked inside, although feeling quite nervous. Someone might see her. If someone does see her, maybe she could ask them about what was happening.

She shrugged it off and looked at each of the teacher. She looked at their faces, wanting to know what exactly was going on. Her eyes landed on a calendar. It was the seventh of March 1949.

Does it matter though?

Her eyes noticed a pair looking at her. She looked up and met their gaze. She didn't know how to react, so she stood there, frozen in place.

'Finally, someone else can see me... maybe I could ask them about all of this.'
