"You can't talk to these girks like that." The twins said in their sexy angry voices. Maia and I were really surprised. I don't know about Maia but I wanted to give them a huge hug.

"Since when do you two care what anyone does to them?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, you hate them." Mason said.

"We never said that we hated them." Blake said.

"True, so do you guys like them now?"

"You two, just leave." Tyler and Mason looked at Maia and me then left.

"What are you doing out here?" Mark asked.

"Doing what we are suppose to." Blake said.

"What do you mean?" Noemi asked.

"If we are going out with these chicks, then we should be able to protect them right?" Drake asked.

"Why, we didn't put that in the rules." I said.

"We don't follow rules."

"You better follow rule number two." Maia said stepping back a step.

"What was rule number two?" I asked. Maia slapped her forehead. "What, I didn't know that I was suppose to listen." Everyone started laughing. After a while, Deborah walked up to us all.

"Wait, since when did you two start hanging out with these nerds?" She asked Blake and Drake. They turned toward her.

"Since today." Blake said.

"Yeah, I kind of figured. So, you guys coming over later?" She asked a little louder.

"Can't." Drake said.

"Why not?" She complained in her whiny voice.

"We just can't." Blake said.

"Well Hailey was gonna come over too."

"So." Blake said.

"I know you like her."

"Why would you say that?"

"Because of last Saturday night." Blake shushed her.

"Why are you shushing her I kinda want to know." I said glaring at them.

"Shut up you little dumb nugget, no one told you that you could speak." Debroah said.

"Hey, hey, hey she might not be the smartest in this group, but she's not a dumb nugget." Maia said.

"Ya! Dumb nugget? You can do better than that!" I yelled.

"I think she is pretty smart, maybe even smarter than me!" Blake said.

"Well that isn't really hard to do Blake." Debroah said.

"Kinda true, thats why i was hoping you would pick her :)." Drake said.

"So anyway, Drake do you want to come over?" Debroah said.

"Um, I cant, I have stuff to do, like not get a STD, I'm just saying." Drake said. I bet Maia was saying in here mind, aww, he doesnt want to have sex with her!!!!

"I don't have goose bumps." Deborah said dumb nuttedly.

"Wow, you don't even know what a STD is? I'm clearly smarter than you!" I said. Everyone started craking up.

"You just got burned bitch." Blake said. Debroah ran off crying. The bell rings. Great wow, we have to deal with the 3 meanys in our life again!

"Well, well, well now if it isn't the brainless hobos" Tyler and Mason said laughing.

"What did we say about messing with our girls?" Blake said.

"Did you just say, 'our girls'?" Tyler and Mason asked in an angry voice.

"What if we did? What are YOU going to do about it?" Drake and Blake said.

"You just wait." Tyler and Mason said and walked away.

"What was that about?"Maia said.

"I don't know, but I think they like you guys." Blake said.

"Thank you captain obvious!" Drake said.

"Okay.....soo, how about that math homework." Maia said.

"Why are you being so nice to us?"

"I don't know, but if I find out, you will be the first to know."

"Whose babe?" I asked.

"The pig, you know, from that movie!!!!" Blake said.

"You guys are weird." Maia and Drake said.

"Thanks!" Me and Blake said smiling. We all sat at the same table. In english our teacher was telling us about our new project of Romeo and Juliet and he chose our partners.

"The list is up on the board." He showed us the board. Me and Blake walked up to the board hoping we were partners. My face fell when I saw that I had to be partners with Tyler. Maia got Mason, Drake got Deborah, and Blake got Hailey. After school was over, we all were out front like yesterday. But this time, there were more kids because we didn't have detention. After a while, Maia and I started walking home.

"Why did you go home earlier than me yeterday?" I asked when we started going.

"I had to do somethng for your parents that you can't see."

"What????"

"It's for your birthday."

"Oh yeah, our birthday is coming up, that totally slipped my mind."

"Everything slips your mind Tina." Maia said laughing. Tyler and Mason came up behind us.

"Hey brainless dweebs." Tyler said.

"What do you want?" Maia asked.

"We are walking home like you guys."

"Well that's stupid." I said. We started walking a little faster. After a minute, we were in front of our house.

"See you tomorrow." The boys said. "Dweebs." They added. We went inside.

"Good, you guys are home, Maia, go upstiars and do homework. Christina, we are going shopping." Mom said.

"Yay!!!!" I said. Maia walked upstairs and I went with mom to the car.

"How many years has she been with us now?" Mom asked.

"I don't know anything about that."

"You are turning fifteen so, fourteen years."

"So tell me, how did we end up adopting her?"
