I ducked down behind the heating vent, unloaded heater in hand. Dally always told me that if it's unloaded, you can pull a bluff and get away with it! Well, right now I'm wishing I had those bullets. The cops had pulled up and told me to put my hands behind my head. So, I ran. As a reflex, though!

Well, they hauled me into the station. Right now, I'm in a cell. Four people convicted me of murder! Four! Ugggg! What's Darry gonna say????? Seriously, this lecture is really gonna hurt.

"Nixon??? Donner Nixon??? Did ol Dal and Johnnycakes keep you out this long????" I heard a voice yell. I know this voice!

"Catarina Johnson! Well, last place I'd expect to see a do gooder like you is the slammer! God, has it been this long???" I yell back. She was across from me.

"I was thinking the same thing. Hey, are you prego? Dang kid. Already? I always said yous was the charmin one of your batch but god." She chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm hopin Ol Johnny Cade can bail me out so Lil bird won't be a repeat of me and be born here in the cooler. They're convicting me of manslaughter a attempted murder. The theft was the only one that was true though." I explained to her.

"So, I'm finally gonna be an aunt, huh? Well, go on then with your bad self, who's is it!?!?" She earged.

"She's a minnie Cade. Her name is Pepsi and she is sopposed to be born soon..... I'm hopin and prayin...." I sighed.

"It'll be fine, kid. Say hey! I got someone you should meet!" She stepped out of the way to show me her sell mate. He looked no older then Ponyboy, maybe younger!

"Hey! I'm Road Runner." Kid said.

"Sup? I'm Donner." I smiled. The kid had greaser written all over him. By the way he carried himself, I could tell he'd been in the slammer for a while. This will be one interesting adventure for me.
