June 2 Fifth day gone
Dear Diary,
I found a hotel. Turns out everyone knows about me. I begged the hotel owner not to say anything. He agreed to let me stay with free meals! I am called The Girl Who Ran. Some people try to stop me, but some people try to help. My story has been going out to everyone. I just keep going. Many people give me free food. Some people make me buy it my self. I have gone from $100 to $50. One woman gave me money. I can’t believe I have had help on this journey. Maybe people will respect me when I get back. I am at a home of an elderly couple. The woman is really funny. When I explained my story, she told me how great I was and that I need to not let anyone stand in my way. I have met so many people and heard so much. I have to get rest now. The man is taking me out of town tomorrow.
