3rd person's POV
You were expecting an apology from Denki since he forgot the event that you always celebrated together but a week has passed he still hasn't realize his mistake.
Weeks ago when you tried to call him to talk about the anniversary he wouldn't pick up your calls because he would be with angel.
You used to be more important than his old girlfriends because no girl could ruin your friendship with Denki. Now you realize that it's different now because you think that had he already fallen in love.
Now you join Deku's squad because seei g Denki with that girl just makes you depressed.
Denki's POV
*after class*
I noticed that y/n was being cold lately. She hasn't really answered my texts and my calls. Whenever I'd talk to her she'd just walk away pretending she didn't hear me at all.
"Y/n, we need to talk" I gathered the courage to confront y/n.
"There's nothing to talk about" she replied coldly
"Damn you've changed man" you started walking away but I grabbed her hand
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Check the date last week" then she pulled away her hand and walks away
Why was she so cold? Was her birthday last week? I checked the date last week to see...
"Omg! I forgot."
I rushed out school to buy her flowers, I knew I messed up big time. I checked my phone to see that she had called me several times but I don't remember receiving any of her calls.
I rushed to her house and knocked on the door. Her mother was the one who opened the door.
"I'm sorry she doesn't feel like seeing you right now, but I'll be sure to give her these flowers"
Her mom explained
*flashback*
I was hanging out with Angel in a cafe then I had to go to the bathroom so I excused myself.
As I was going back I felt my pocket, my phone wasn't there.
Then I looked up to see Angel going through my stuff and she was holding my phone.
"What are you doing?" I caught her and this is when I knew she was bad news.
She wouldn't let me hang out with my friends. She didn't even seem to like y/n because when I would talk about her, I'd catch her rolling her eyes. I should've listened to Kirishima about her personality.
Now I know that she hanged up all y/n's calls...
Y/n's POV
"Why are you still mad?" a familiar voice that I knew too well, oh great.
"I already said sorry"
"SORRY? A simple sorry fixed the way you neglected me these past few weeks? You know Kaminari I felt like actual crap, I feel so alone now that you probably have a girlfriend which you didn't even bother telling me about." I was about to walk away then...
"Before you walk away just let me tell you, that you're the best thing that ever happened to me y/n." tears left his eyes, his beautiful eyes...
"Then you should've kept your promise" and I walked away with tears in my eyes
