Chapter 24

PERRIES POV

I smiled at the photo on my phone as Jade slept cuddled up to me. She had fell asleep cuddling flopsy and cuddled her all night. She looked like a young child sleeping with their toy rabbit when they're scared because of a noise on the stairs.

I played with her hair as she started to stir, eyelashes fluttered against the tops of her cheeks before she rubbed her eyes. Rolling over, she threw her arm over my shoulder and kissed my neck.

"Mornin' Pezz" she yawned sleepily.

"Morning babe, did you sleep well?" I ask.

"Yeah actually, I was warmer than usual" she looked at me as I tried to hold back the little smile. "What?"

"You fell asleep cuddling flopsy last night and you looked so innocent" I picked my phone and showed her my new screensaver "see? Aren't you just the cutest thing everrrr". I cooed and pinched her cheeks, which earned me getting a slap.

"Oh shut up" she groaned and moved down lower so her head was lying on my abs and she was looking at me. "So what shall we do today?" She asked.

"Umm why don't we go ice skating? Because then we can decorate the apartment tonight" her face lit up like the Christmas lights.

"Really?! I've never been before, I always wanted to go when I was younger but I was too clumsy and Karl being the older protective brother didn't want me to go because he always thought I'd end up in A and E after" she giggled.

"Well we'll just have to hope that you won't" I smiled. She got up out of bed and left the room with just my shirt on. As soon as I had finished staring at her bum, I followed her out. She was sat under the blankets with two slices of toast and a mug of hot chocolate for us, The Muppets in Manhattan playing away on the TV as she seemed like a young child completely engrossed in the movie. I sat down next to her and she immediately cuddled back into me as I wrapped my arm around her. She held up a slice of toast for me and I took a bite so that she could eat the rest.

We ended up going ice skating when it got darker so that the fairy lights were on. Jade was completely in awe when saw it. Her eyes twinkling from the lights and plain excitement. She dragged me to the reception of the museum to pay, as soon as she got the wristband she ran back outside and stood waiting for me. I watched her staring at the rink amused so I went up behind her and got a little fright when she kissed me.

"Thanks Pezz" she smiled.

"Your welcome baby, now shall we get out skates on?" She giggled and nodded. We put our skates on and I helped her on to the ice so that she could hang on to the side whilst I got on. I followed her on and she took my hand with her mittens on. I pulled her hat back a little so that she could see where she was going.

Eventually I managed to get her away from the sides so that she could skate just holding my hand. When trying to steady herself, she almost fell but luckily I managed to catch her somehow.

"Thanks" she smiled

"You alright there?" I chuckled lightly.

"For now I am yeah"

We carried on skating for longer but what neither of us realized was that a little chunk had been taken out of the ice, obviously from when someone had fell. To our luck, just as Jade found her balance the blade on her skate caught the little dip and she fell.

"Oh my god Jade, are you alright?!" I panicked and crouched down next to her. She moved her hair out of the way and looked at me.

"I don't know but my wrist hurts.."

JESYS POV

"Babe can we please get this? Look at how cute he is" Leigh pouted, holding the little reindeer decoration. We had decided to go shopping for some Christmas decorations whilst Jade and Perrie were ice skating.

"You wanted a little Christmas tree for our room, not a flaming reindeer" i laughed.

"Pleeeeeeeese?" She gave me the puppy dog eyes, which I couldn't resist.

"Fine" she squealed and kissed my cheek, hugging the reindeer. A few minutes later, my phone started ringing. I answered it with out checking the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Jesy, where are you two?" Perrie asked, her voice filled with worry.

"We're in town, why?"

"How long will it take you to get back to the car?"

"Um about five minute. Perrie, what's going on?" I asked starting to panic.

"Jade fell on the ice and I think she may have broke her wrist"

"Hang on, we'll pick you both up and take you to the hospital" I hung up and Leigh looked at me confused.

"Babe, what's up?"

"Perrie thinks jades broke her wrist. Look the cue isn't long, you pay for that and I'll go bring the car to the front" I gave her the money and went out the shop into the car park. I got in the car and by the time I got to the front of the shop, Leigh was waiting outside.

"Let's go" she said as she hopped in the car.

We drove a few minutes to the bottom of the town before we get to the bridge. I looked over at where Leigh was pointing too and it was the cutest thing. Perrie was sat on the bench with Jade on her lap, kissing her left wrist and holding it delicately. Both of us smiled at the pair as I pulled the car over. They both noticed and Perrie picked her up and carried her over to the car like a hero.

"I can walk y'know" Jade giggled as she opened the door.

"I don't want you hurting yourself any more than what you have" she said as she closed the door behind them and I started to drive off.

"How did you hurt you wrist anyways?" I asked.

"Um I tripped on the ice because someone had fell and took a chunk out of it when they fell" Jade muttered quietly.

"Aw bless" Leigh cooed.

We drove 10 minutes to get to the hospital and Perrie and Jade got out while we parked the car. We shortly followed and sat on the chairs in the waiting room, as the pair was no where in sight. Leigh put her head on my shoulder and yawned, I wrapped my arm around her waist and she cuddled closer to me, putting her legs on my lap because she's tired.

"At least you got your reindeer" I smiled causing her to giggle.

"Yeah, I named him prancer"

"Cute" Jade and Perrie soon came back out the room and sat next to us.

"I still need an x-ray" Jade groaned and cuddled up to Perrie.

"Hopefully won't be too long"

After twenty long minutes of playing eye spy, Jade finally got called in for her x-Ray. Perrie went with her so leigh and I started to play slaps, but instead of slapping my hand, she patted my cheek and kissed me.

"Ugh your cute" I laughed.

"I know" she winked as the other two came back out and Jade had a bandage on her wrist.

"It's not broke" Perrie laughed.

"But it is sprained, they said if I had of landed a little harder it would have been badly broken" Jade laughed too.

"What a great start to Christmas time eh?"
