Personality If you would pass Nekomi on the street you would see a quiet, distant, girl walking around, but she's sassy, sarcastic, and a bit hot tempered. Although she can be kind, funny, caring, and loyal.

Quirk Animorph- she can morph into any animal she wants as long as she knows it's looks and abilities. While in the animal form she is able to speak clearly but she prefers not to. She cannot turn into fantasy creatures, but can turn into certain extinct ones.
Outside of her actual quirk she has an elevated sense of hearing and smell as well as quick reflexes (you could say..cat like..ok I'll stop)
Quirk drawback If she is in a form for too long she starts to lose her self control and becomes as wild as the animal until exhaustion takes over. Rapid morphing gives her body and muscle pain and if she's not wearing clothing with microfibers that mesh with her dna it will be destroyed.
Family Her father is Takashi Kiyama, a Japanese man with a cat quirk and her deceased mother was Kaitlyn Kiyama, an American woman with a quirk that lets her talk to animals and has increased strength. She has a twin brother Tatsuo Kiyama whose quirk is called "Monster".

Backstory Nekomi's grandfather was one of the top 10 heroes in New York, and while in college her mother came to Japan as an exchange student where she met Takashi and fell in love. She grew up with both of her parents and twin happily..until her mother was killed by a villian before the heros arrived when she was 10. After her funeral her grandfather came, taking her brother with him to be the heir of his hero agency in New York and she hasn't seen him in person since. She's very close with her dad, who is a hero therapist, and he supported her through her decision to be a hero as well. She went to the same school as Mina and Kirishima and is Mina's best friend, but she wouldn't admit that.

-She often naps whenever she can, if she's not napping she's yawning on and off
-Once Mineta had pulled on her tail and she gave him a black eye
-The scar on her face is from her brother losing control of his quirk after their mom passed
-When she chose to go to UA to be a hero her father bought an apartment nearby so it would be easier for her to travel to and from school, but kept their family home as well
-During a sleepover Mina discovered that Nekomi can purr like a cat and does whatever she can to make her do so
-Almost every night she video calls her brother as he's waking up, when UA moved into the dorms he convinced her to call him so he could meet the class
-Since she has elevated hearing she despises thunderstorms, during one you can find her under a bed or her covers with her hands covering her ears
