[Seonghwa POV]

It was early in the morning when I saw him.

Through the glass entrance. That boy... Kang Yeosang. His steps were frantic as he passed through others, though even with lots of people it was easy to follow him with my eyes. He wore a bright blue, silk long sleeves shirt with dark blue jeans and shiny dress shoes with a silver buckle hugging its leather. His hair shined with the light of the chandelier as he scurried through the foyer into the main corridor where I had lost sight of him. I need to find out how to see him...

"Seonghwa?" The photographer said, waving a hand in front of my face.

"Ah, sorry... Something caught my eye is all..." I replied with before following him to the conference room.

[Yeosang POV]

My first day and I'm almost late! I shuffled through my co-workers towards the elevator, bumping shoulders with a few as I passed. I stood in front of the elevator, peeking over heads to see when the doors will open. When the machine 'dinged' and the doors split apart, all of us waiting we're met with the several faces of others coming from the basement parking, no space for another passenger in sight. I groaned, looking for another option. The stairs.

I ran up the stairs, skidding around the landings, trying to get to the 8th floor as quickly as I could. I almost dropped my satchel when I finally saw the sign for Floor 8 and I sighed in relief. I hauled myself up the last set of stairs and pushed through the door.

I was greeted with the bright light of the Art Team Reception. It was a large area, with wooden floors and pearly white walls. In front of the elevators was a small desk and to the left and right were the two different sectors. Design and Layout Team was the section to the left and the Concept and Color Team was to the right.

Design and Layout was all about making covers of the magazines, designing the text and picture layouts on articles and sizing and cropping photos for advertisements. These guys work none stop and if a spot was open, I would've hoped to get into this team, but alas, all that was open in my field was Concept and Color. I don't hate this team but, it's more about working on set with the photographer, choosing the best light angles, colors and brightness. They also advise the photographer on prop choices, posing choices and camera angles. Though, this position takes a lower qualification, so if it was as difficult to get into Concept and Color as it was, Design and Layout, I probably wouldn't even be here.

Above the lightly colored, wooden doors to the section was a light golden, 'Concept and Color' in a cursive font. It was similar to 'The Studio' sign but just a little smaller. I smiled before pushing the doors open softly. The office was set up similar to any other, with cubicles and a small coffee and refreshments room on the far end of them.

It was completely silent, with the occasional sound of clicks and keyboard typing. I quietly stepped towards my cubicle, a clean silver name tag displaying on one of the walls. The desk was freshly cleared it seemed, with a swivel chair tucked into the desk in front of a double monitored computer.  I peek at my cubicle mate behind my desk. The nameplate read 'Song Mingi' and the owner of the name's light red hair could be seen ever so slightly from over the top of the cubicle.

"He must be tall..." I say quietly to myself. I try and peek a little more, the rest of his red hair being revealed. I look even lower to see a pair of dark pupils staring straight at me. I jumped, and sat back down at my desk, pretending I didn't see anyone.

"Nice to meet you," a deep voice says from behind me. Indeed, the red haired man was standing next to his cubicle wall, a hand hanging over the top. And indeed, he was very tall. He had a kind face with a sharply pointed nose. I stood up and quickly bowed, introducing myself.

"Oh, I'm Kang Yeosang," I said, shaking the hand he held out to me.

"Song Mingi," He replied, pointing to his nameplate. "Welcome to the CC!" His smile was warm and contagious. I'm glad this is my cubicle buddy instead of some jackass. I smiled back, giving a little nod.

"Oi! Mingi!" another voice called, this time from the coffee room. I turned to see a dark haired guy, not much taller than I was, coming towards us. He walked straight past me, grabbing at Mingi's collar and shaking him around. "Where is my report?!"

"Ok, ok, ok," he said, tapping on the guy's arm to let him go. "I was just about to send it to you, but I was greeting our new member."

"New member?" He turned around, a little surprised to see me there. "Wow..." he said under his breath. "He's handsome."

"I know right?" Mingi said, taking a sip from a white coffee mug.

I bowed again, and introduced myself. I shook his hand and gave him a friendly smile.

"Choi Jongho," he said in response. We started talking about the team and what it involved, with lots of funny banter from Mingi and Jongho. They pointed out the parts of the office, and introduced me to the other co-workers in each cubicle. I was glad that I had such nice guys working with me. I was actually worried that it wouldn't be this way and I would have to work with no help at all for the next couple of weeks or even months. This was a true relief.

After Jongho finished scolding Mingi about his late report, he returned to his cubicle nearby and I sat down, logging into my company computer for the first time. It was kind of exciting, since I felt important for once and like this position really belonged to me. The background was the company logo on a white background, with the basic applications I needed, pinned to my taskbar. Moving my mouse from monitor from monitor was surprisingly fun and for the next couple of minutes I played around with it.

Finally, I opened my email, ready to start my first job. It finished loading and my fresh new account's inbox was revealed. Empty. Slightly shocked, I refreshed my inbox. Nothing. I sat back into my chair and sighed. Maybe it would take a little setting up before I would get my first job-

*Ding*

I sat up, and clicked on my inbox.
