Make It Right

Chapter One

"Don't touch me".I scream anguish clawing at my heart."Don't you dare touch me with your filthy hands you wretch!"

Yes..even angry I put a sensor on my words. I was just that type of girl. Cliché and clinging to an image of a prince charming which was shattering right before my eyes. My heart was bleeding but my eyes were indignant portraying the fury I felt.

I wanted to lash out. Scream like a child,launch myself at him and claw his eyes out. But I stood there and just screamed my words.

"You've got to leave Daniel. I can't stand seeing your face anymore. Just leave! Go!"

More calmly I say very sincerely "My heart can't take it anymore. Please leave and spare me the pain"

Finally finally the tears come in torrents like a dam had broken and I was reduced to a sobbing mess
"Oh God. Oh God..I can't take it..My heart's going to burst. I can't take it anymore..I can't"
I start to claw at my arms and tear my hair. Inflicting the pain I was feeling on myself.

I was having a panic attack and close to losing the very shred of sanity I had.

Click... something clicked inside of me and I knew my schizophrenia was back..

I laughed and laughed like a maniac....
I clutched my stomach and laughed

I turned to Daniel and then I went back to sobbing

"Do darling.."He started..I slowly turned and the look on my face was enough to tell him to shut up..

He quietly picked his phone and dialled what I was sure was 911

He gave me one last look and left.

I slumped to the floor to tired to move and closed my eyes letting the darkness within comfort me.. I craved it's numbness

3 hours earlier

"OMG! Girl you are slaying this look"Ari told me."Yeah girl you look hot.. definitely eye candy"Jas responded.

My two best friends Ari and Jas were here and helping me select my wedding gown

"You look so fucking gorgeous"Jas exclaimed

I tutted"Language girl" A tint of pink colour my cheeks and I clear my throat

"Okay..I am gonna put this one on the okay list" I go to the dressing room and take the dress off careful not to crumple anything

I was getting married to my long time boyfriend of three years Daniel and Jas Ari and I were trying dresses

"Someone pinch me" I say
Jas obliges pinching me hard with her manicured nails.
"What is wrong with you". I glare at her. She shrugs and I smile

"You guys. I am getting married!" I exclaim

"Yeah we know"Jas says rolling her yes

"Girl we know and you've got to stop acting like a....a ....whatshinot.."

"Huh?" Me and Jas say our confused faces mirroring each other

"What I mean is..girl chill the fuck out"

"Once again language"I say
"Okay okay but girl on a serious note take a chill pill"

"Guys I'm hungry..I'm heading home.
I'm sure Danny has cooked a delicious gourmet meal for me"I tell them and wave "Sort the rest out for me will ya"

"Ok we will"Ari Calls back

I order an Uber and decide against calling Daniel deciding to surprise him. I was sure he would love the surprise.

I get to the door and let myself in using my key which I secretly called my bypass.
I didn't want to use the biometrics which would have alerted Daniel

Not that I didn't trust him. I didn't want to spoil the surprise

I tiptoe quietly to the kitchen and I don't smell anything

"Hmm..that's weird" I think to myself

I open the bedroom door and I am greeted with a pleasant surprise.

Daniel was naked. There was a girl..she was naked.

Then it clicked..Daniel was cheating on me

"Ahhh"I screamed and Daniel jumped of the girl and both of them scurry to get dressed...

I look at the girl and I shout "Out". She nods and flees the scene. I smile..at least she is not an idiot

I turn to Daniel.."What were you thinking?" "What were you thinking tell me!"

He tries to come closer"It's not what it looks like I swear" he pleads

I scoff"Classic save."

He touches me

"Don't you touch me..don't you dare touch me"
