The sirens from the ambulance were frustratingly calming.."Help is coming I whispered to myself"

The cheat at least called for help. That was the last time I hoped to think of him.

"Ma'am"the attendant called out "Can you hear us?"
I nod and then I am helped up.

I take a good look at my surroundings before succuming to my exhaustion inviting the black dots to take over

Kaylid's POV

"Dad. I don't want to marry. Don't you understand? I am not a little boy who you have to make decisions for. I am my own man. I make my own decisions"

My dad was being annoying..kept on talking about having a grandson and whatnot.Annoying the heck out of me.

I just wanted to be my own man. Wanted to not be burdened. Wanted freedom in its entirety. But my dad was set in his ways and didn't want that for me.

I was to follow his life plan. Get married, have children ,take over his multi-billion company. I was sick and tired of being manipulated. He was trying to use the media to force me to get married.

I fought by causing scandals but that he even turned to his benefit.
At one point he paid a girl to claim she was pregnant with my child. Had it not been for the housekeep who told me everything, out of guilt I would have married her.

Thinking of these stuff frustrated me.
I had made my decision. I was going to move to a different country, assume a different identity and try to piece my life at my own pace.

"Dad. I'm sorry but this is where I say goodbye".
I turn and leave calmly.

Once out of the building, a smile graces my face.
I was free.
