She watched as the rain drops fall on her window. It was a chilly and cloudy day today. The sun hidden behind the clouds. She watched people walking with umbrellas and hoods on their heads to prevent them from getting wet by the rain. She sighed as she cracked the window opened a little bit to get some fresh air. Her parents are gone, she's only left with her blue eyed white cat, Alaska. Her parents died a year ago and since then she hasn't left the house unless she has to go to work or go buy groceries. Being 18 you would think that she would leave. Without her parents, she gets a little bit lonely. Sure she had Alaska, but won't it get lonely with just you and your cat alone? She graduated last year in May. Her parents were still alive then. She thought about her mom and dad and the memories that they shared. It all happened too fast. One moment she was getting her diploma and she could hear her parents cheering in the crowd to them dying in a really bad car crash a few week later. She smiled at her graduation memory. She snapped out of her thoughts by her phone going off saying that she had a text.
"Why would anyone text me? And who?" She wondered. She smiled in the first time in a year. She read the text and was shocked on who texted her. It was her guy bestfriend/crush who left awile on tour with his band mates. It was the one and only Luke Hemmings. They grew up together. Their parents were became bestfriends in grade school and had been a family since. Liz and Andrew were like a 2nd family/parents to her. They were very desavated and upset that her parents are gone forever because of some drunk/high driver crashed into her parents' car having total impact killing them instantly. She was working that day when she got a call and was informed on what happened to her parents. Right then and there she broke down, not caring what people thought at the moment. All that she cared about is that her parents are gone and she couldn't do anything about it.
